Hello, I have such a strange problem with the 1.9tdi bls engine.
I decided to replace the hydro tappets and the roller bushings.
    Everything went fine.
Timing on the foot locks tightened 8Nm + 90 degrees and the axis of the injector levers 20Nm + 90 degrees.
And unit injectors are adjusted, i.e. the lever is pushed in as far as it will go.
INA glasses and new camshaft bearings.
But when folded, it knocks more than before the exchange. The engine was idling for about 20 minutes and about 10 minutes at 1800 rpm.
The timing is set well and the synchronization is
-0.89 as well as before the exchange.
Do you have any ideas why he is knocking?
The sound comes farther left from the valve timing. I would like to add that the frequency increases with the revolutions but does not knock louder

Do you have any symptoms other than tapping? Why did you mention?

There were already some signs of wear of the pushers so I decided to replace them.
It starts up nicely and only knocks
Adds a movie heard at the beginning

I will add that immediately after firing on the cold after a night it does not knock. It starts tapping after about 5 minutes of idling
    Do you have any ideas

If you assembled everything correctly as you say, maybe there is something wrong with the oil pressure, making the hydro tappets noise. Clip the pressure gauge into the oil main.

It is strange that when it came from 20 minutes I turned it off and dismantled the cover and pressed the hydro tappets, it bends as well as the old ones.
I think I will break it down again and put glasses in the engine oil and press them, maybe it is bleeding

If the correct shells and glasses are installed, the full synthesis oil will warm up the car and just drive, they will fill up under load and higher oil pressure. In gasoline, they usually smack their glasses until the ride because they practically do not stop at idle.
To be sure, as a colleague wrote, check this oil pressure.

Hello, I think I listened to another tdi and it is the same. I am oversensitive on this point.
So thanks for helping the topic to close

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a VW Golf V 1.9 TDI BLS engine that exhibits knocking noises after the replacement of hydro tappets and roller bushings. The user reports that the engine runs well initially but starts knocking after a few minutes of idling. Responses suggest checking oil pressure, as insufficient pressure could cause hydro tappets to make noise. The user considers rechecking the installation and bleeding the hydro tappets. Ultimately, the user concludes that the knocking may be a normal characteristic of the engine, as they compared it to another TDI and found similar sounds.
