Hello, I can not connect a non-factory JVC radio to the original radio installation in C3 from 2005. The original bone consists of two cubes, the upper is from the power supply and the lower is probably the speakers. It is about the upper one, namely in the car that I take turns counting from the left there are two rows to connect the cables:
    from the top I have:
    1 box thin green cable
    2 empty field
    3 empty field
    4 pole green thick cable.

Second row from the left I have
    1 empty field
    2 boxes thin red cable
    3 empty field
4 box of green kabalków thick as above.

I know that to connect an unoriginal radio I need to buy a switch to normal ISO and I bought such a switch but after mounting, as it is, nothing happens.
In the adapter, on the other hand, I have this cable configuration:

1 square from the left, black
    2 squares red from left
    3- free
    4 - free
    Second row:
    1- yellow field
    2,3,4 free.

I know that I still need to have an antenna separator but I have already purchased it and I need to connect it to somewhere but I have a blue wire to connect to it but smaller with it. The original bone has these two green cables and one red. How to rewind it to radio
It worked. In the attachments photos of the original connector from the car and this adapter that I bought

    Welcome.
    In a non-original cube:
    Black - minus
    Red - a plus
    Yellow - a plus
One plus is the "fixed" second "after the ignition" Sorry, I never remember which one is which. After the ignition should turn on the radio ..
If you make a mistake, you won't break anything, just turning off the ignition will not turn off the radio, or will not remember the settings ...

Check where in the original cube there are equivalents of black, red and yellow.
Need a test tube or bulb on the wires, touch the ground and then all wires in sequence:
without a key switch - there should be a plus on one
at the parking lights - the next should be a plus
on the ignition - the next should be a plus
the last fourth is mass (minus)

I will shoot a little so check it out!
Most likely thick is power supply (plus and minus) - one has markings - transverse stripes.
red is probably a plus after the ignition and thin green is a plus for lighting (when you turn on the lights)

ps. Do you have steering wheel radio control? Any functions displayed on the radio? If so, you can not find the plus after the ignition ... can be controlled digitally ... Is there a diagram on the original radio ??

For this advice you should get banned from the finish line !!!!

This is an installation on the wall - after connecting something under a thin green or red there will be a million errors in bsi soon and may not start the car!

There is no ill and acc in this installation!

Is the transition to C3 or any on iso2?

    C3 has the opposite + and -.

In the original cube it is also one of those fat green that has a belt on it and the other one doesn't.
The transition is bought on the Allegro and is dedicated to Citroen and Peugots link below:

As I connected as it was originally, there was no reaction but as I switched from red to red from red to the car, the car went stupid and it was not possible to start it. Fortunately, removing the fuse and unplugging the clamp helped. I do not know what's going on. They couldn't keep you Citroen
standard colors ?? massacre Someone has an idea what to do about it.

I have no steering from the steering wheel or an additional radio display. Only the watch is in the top shelf.

What do you have at the end of iso 2?

What cube do you have in JVC?

    You're right! But ...

with an emphasis on "SOMETHING", while a light bulb to a mess will not do.
However, if strange errors appear, you can't start the car, always disconnect the negative terminal and connect the negative terminal last, then the computer goes through adaptations and everything that runs smoothly.

Returning to the radio, on "thick" you have power, but it can be controlled by CAN, so to use a non-original radio you need to pull up the power from the fuse box.
Or ... buy a radio that works with the CAN bus.

This is how it looks from the radio to the passage :) I got an info from someone that this car has no plus after the ignition and one of those thick green is a plus and the other mass and that the radio works I should connect red bridged with yellow under green plus and black under minus? And it will work what you think about it?

It will only work if it is not known whether it will drain the battery.

Make a bridge on these rubber connectors on the radio.

that is, I will connect yellow and red with these connectors and I will give red one to green with plus in the radio cube and the other to minus and it should work :)

Hello. Topic overwhelmed. One of these two thick greens and more specifically the one without the strip along the cable is a plus and the other is a minus. As here colleague above suggested in Citroen plus minus were swapped, minus at the top and plus at the bottom. I checked with a diode that lights only as there is a plus to minus and minus to minus, otherwise it was impossible, in one configuration it only caught fire. And so I connected the radio using only these two wires. Antenna fakra separator is still mounted. Of course, there were surprises, namely in my car not only there was no radio but also loudspeakers heh. I managed to buy a set of 6 original pieces for a penny so now everything is nice. It was also a surprise that I was expecting the lack of beam in the rear door, but to my surprise there were ankles originally plugged into the connector in the door, you only had to unplug it to the speakers. I still lack speaker mounts on the back because I didn't know I would need them, but they are on the way. As for the discharge of the battery I measured the power consumption and when the panel on the radio draws 0.02 And if no panel, the power consumption is 0 so there is hope that it will be ok. I think the topic is solved. So to close. Thank you colleagues for help and suggestions. I think it is worth leaving this topic as someone would have a similar problem as me.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connecting a non-factory JVC radio to a 2005 Citroen C3. The original wiring consists of two connectors, with specific color codes for power and speaker connections. Users suggest that the thick green wire is likely the power supply, while the red wire may be for ignition. There are warnings about potential errors in the car's BSI system if incorrect connections are made. A common solution involves using an ISO adapter designed for Citroen vehicles. Users also mention the need for an antenna separator and highlight the importance of correctly identifying power and ground connections to avoid draining the battery. Some users successfully connected the radio by bridging the yellow and red wires, while others faced challenges with speaker connections.
