Today I wanted to visit a known page (xxx ;) ) and suddenly it pops up that I'm blocked from accessing porn sites. Via another network (e.g. by sharing the net from a cellular network via wifi), websites with such topics are already running on my computer. Where did it come from? Vectra could block access to sites on such topics? Some censorship in the state or what? :D

You are following the wrong lead, it is not about any parents because I do not live with them (I am a student). There is a connection on the same device via another network, only via vectra. This is what amazes me the most ;)

I will suggest that it is blocking me via OpenDNS

Then you have a DNS blocker.

    Added after 1 [minutes]:

the only way around is by proxy or your VPN server and redirecting DNS queries through your VPN.
If the DNS block is well done, setting your DNS in the computer will not do anything, because the block is on the router and all DNS queries are redirected to openDNS. I set up such a block myself (at the client's request).

But who is blocking it then? ISP?

    Added after 1 [minutes]:

It makes me wonder if Vectra has offered me some censorship :D

Your network manager, admin from whom you got the net.

And by what right can he do something like that? Did they forbid it in our country or what? ;)

    Who pays this requires.
You personally pay for the net? who? look for options on this subject in the regulations.

To be honest, I got a bit lost, because ... by entering this website on the phone (being connected to the same network on which it is blocking my computer) it already works: o
    Summarizing:
On my laptop, it does not work via wifi (I do not have the option to check on the cable) and it works via the cellular network provided from the phone.
It works on the phone both via wifi and via the mobile network.
    How is this possible? :D

Yes, I pay. It is very strange, since the phone works via the same wifi network :P

Without testing the laptop with a cable to the router, we will further theorize.

In addition, a test with a laptop in safe mode + network support.

Alternatively, show the network card settings from the laptop, maybe someone made a change for you.

Well, change to another - operator or google.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a user experiencing site blocking for adult content while connected to the Vectra network. The user notes that access is possible through a cellular network but not via Wi-Fi on their laptop. Responses suggest that the blocking may be due to a DNS filter, possibly implemented by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) or network administrator. Solutions proposed include using a VPN or proxy to bypass the block. The user is confused about the inconsistency in access across devices on the same network and questions the legality of such censorship by the ISP.
