    Hello

I have such a problem that I do not know how to set the C280 in such a way that the pages thrown into the ADF feeder are scanned and saved in separate PDF files.

It creates one file for me every time. Containing several pages.

if you talk about this option?

    It's nothing like that.
Unfortunately, I checked this function before I wrote the post. It is for an entirely opposite function. Save different cards to one PDF file.

Everything OK but you have the file type set to "PDF multiple p." . Set to single and off you go :) The one you selected is useful for scanning single sheets from the glass into one PDF file.

and click on "file type" you have now set up "PDF multiple pages".
On the right side you will be able to change to single pages.

It gives no results. I also tried before I started the topic.

I select the container, xero will automatically name the file (shown above). I think there is something with this name - because it has a top-down name, but only for 1 file. And if I do not do it, the scan does not go.

    To be clear.
The function works but not for the disk inside the device :(
After SMB, it flies as it should.

Is it possible to change the settings so that it also works on the internal hard drive that is in the device?

    1. you put on the box.
    2. In the address book, you assume that you scan to the box
    3. the rest as for SMB

Gentlemen and ladies, I have found an effective solution to the problem mentioned at the beginning of this post, namely how to scan a file of sheets of paper inserted into the scanner feeder and have each scan sent to an email in a separate PDF file. Although we use a KM C250i at work, the procedure will be similar to the others.
I have marked everything in the picture, but I will still describe everything. We have to go to "File type", where the default setting is "PDF Compact". The last thing to do is to select "Send all files as one e-mail" so that all files are sent in one e-mail, unless you want each file sent in a separate e-mail, in which case select the option below "1 file in each e-mail".

    Interesting fact:
If you want it to create PDFs with several pages if you have a large packet of cards to scan, then enter the number of pages you are interested in in the "Output of pages" box.
    Example:
We have 30 sheets of paper to scan, but we want it to create PDFs with 5 scans, i.e. the scanner will scan all 30 pages, but it will divide them into 6 PDFs and in each one 5 more pages from the entire 30-page pack will be scanned.

Scanner settings screen with PDF selected, page separation set to 1, and email option enabled.
    .

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around configuring the Konica Minolta bizhub C280 to scan multiple sheets from the ADF feeder and save them as separate PDF files. Users initially encountered issues with the device defaulting to creating a single multi-page PDF file. Solutions suggested include changing the file type setting from "PDF multiple pages" to "single page" to enable the desired functionality. However, some users reported that this feature works only when scanning to SMB (Server Message Block) and not to the internal hard drive of the device. Additional guidance was provided on setting up the address book for scanning to the box.
