I know that the topic has already been discussed, but I am struggling with it and I cannot cope. I copied the description but that was 2 years ago. Despite those tips, nothing works. The printer cannot see my computer. He sees others. This is a new PC from win10. Where is the problem? How to make it visible to the end?
Other computers can see the computer on the network and the shared folder. I am convinced this is a problem with win10 ???

Please help me on Konica Minolta C224e scan. The device works properly, the computer can see and print it, full control by the browser after entering the printer's IP. I created according to various tutorials several "store addresses" of SMB, entering the computer's name as "host address", otherwise its IP (from the search bar in START, cmd, ipconfig). The "file path" folders are created and made available according to proven tips and tutorials.
After scanning, a message pops up on the panel saying "job completion failed" and details "no server connection".
The scanner works, performs a movement with the detection of the paper size, asks for the correct size, etc. After these steps, it waits for a while and displays again "job completion failed".

Go to the properties of the folder you share. Must be shared with the Everyone group with Read / Write access. Likewise for advanced sharing and security. Then, in the Network and Sharing Center, find the All Networks item and select Password Protected Sharing to Off. In the machine, when registering the scan to SMB, select the host name and enter the full computer name in CAPITAL LETTERS and enter the folder name in the path. The folder when creating it is best called lowercase. If that doesn't help, the problem may be with the antivirus or firewall.

There is one more problem. If your account on the new system doesn't have a password, it can also be tough.
For some time, when I encounter a similar problem with a client, I create a new account in the system with a password, of course, and it usually works.

    Hello,

Check what type of network you have selected, whether it is public or private. This can be checked by going to the Network and Sharing Center (info on the left). It is also important that network discovery is turned on (This Computer - Network - Turn on network discovery and sharing). The second thing is that traffic may be blocked by some anti-virus program. Is there any anti-virus installed on the computer?
