Hello! We recently bought a Samsung 70ku6000 TV. After a few days, I noticed for the first time that after turning on the TV, a green (not uniform) image appeared for a few seconds. Then everything works as it should, and the image is perfectly correct. The situation repeats itself every few / several days. It seems that this only happens when the TV is turned off at least for a while, or after a night. Turning off the TV temporarily does not reveal a problem. Is this normal or someone has it / had it too? I wanted to advertise but, I am afraid that when we report a problem, and they will not receive anything like that for a few days, they will say that everything is ok. Regards.

Then return the tv (if bought online).

Record a video, take photos - document it.
Complaints to the store in writing, indicate there what you want.

I didn't think about the movie, and the simplest solutions are the best. Thanks. Greetings!

I called the service, Typ said that there was such a problem in Js and Samsung repaired it with software, he had not heard in "K" yet, but you only have to report it to them (which I did) However, as he said, this is not a serious problem and only the nuisance species. May. So far I have not managed to record it on the webcam, when I record the problem does not appear, if I do not record ... eh! I hope they fix it with the software, if not I still have 2 years warranty so ... I hope :) Greetings.

Better complaint in the store - no one will start the TV there, because the producer of this TV will not pick it up later (if they exchange it for another art), and the store also has to settle accounts for such a TV.
And you have much wider and greater rights - you are protected by the Consumer Act and the provisions contained therein (very beneficial for the customer).
A repair service at the manufacturer's - you have nothing to say, and you are completely doomed to the provisions contained there (you have practically no rights).

    Better in-store complaint

100% Right! And I guess I'll go this way. After all, I still have time to collect evidence. Eventually, I can document the problem and then they have to take it into account. And it's always a new TV ;) Thank you for your advice, two heads are better than one :)

Only this way - in the event of a dispute with the store, you can count on the help of PRK (Poviat Consumer Ombudsman), because there is a very wide range of options for you, which you can refer to in the complaint letter to the store, and the Ombudsman will help if the store has problems.

Well, I contacted the store, the samsung store, and the samsung with me. Generally they said they would replace it with a new one without a problem, but asked first for a software update they just released yesterday as it is probably a software problem and you may find that when you replace your TV it will be the same with your new TV until you update it to the latest version. Samsung also ensured that if the problem persists after the update, they will replace the TV with a new one. So I updated ... The problem is gone. As for me, a satisfactory solution to the case. Best regards and thank you for the advice.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a recurring issue with the Samsung 70ku6000 TV, where users experience an intermittent green screen upon startup, lasting a few seconds before normal operation resumes. The problem appears after the TV has been off for an extended period. Users suggest documenting the issue with videos and photos for warranty claims and recommend filing complaints with the store rather than the manufacturer for better consumer protection. One user reported that Samsung acknowledged similar issues in other models and suggested a software update as a potential fix.
