    Hello all,

I don't know if I have a problem with the fridge or not. Best when experts say. Already last year, after a little adventure, I decided to buy a completely new refrigerator, freezer. The choice fell on the Siemens KG39NXI35. To the point. The freezer works, the refrigerator also cools, but ... I have doubts about the correct operation of the equipment. It is a model with a flap and a fan that blows cold air into the refrigerator compartment. The refrigerator starts on average every 10-15 minutes (non-stop). At the beginning, the flap opens, then the fan starts up, and finally the compressor starts. As a rule, everything works for about 3 to 5 minutes. Sometimes it happens that the work is extended to 20-30 minutes if a lot of cold actually escapes from the open door. Maybe I have a bad feeling, but is it normal to run so often with the no-frost function? I would like to add that each time the refrigerator door is opened and closed, the compressor starts up again. Changing the thermostat settings to a smaller one does not cause the compressor to run less frequently.
Even while writing the post, the refrigerator started once and 5 minutes after it was turned off, it started again.

Regards and waiting for good news

I don't think it's normal - I have Samsung no frost - I've been sitting at the computer for at least 40 minutes and it didn't turn on. Nobody opened it during this time.

I suggest starting with defrosting for two days.

What is the purpose of defrosting for such a long time? The refrigerator is 1.5 months old. This is how it works since the first start.

    Hello.
I have the same model, I bought it two weeks ago (my wife chose it because she liked it and I don't interfere with her kitchen matters). The first day of its work in hot weather with the eco settings (because it is almost empty after the failure of the previous one) - the compressors work constantly, which is normal, then cyclically. After about 3 days, changing the settings of the refrigerator to 4 degrees - it worked for some time (I did not measure it) and cyclically switching on with the sequence given by the author of the topic, but not every opening of the door causes the compressor to turn on, usually only a few seconds the fan can be heard quietly, with a longer opening the compressor steps into action. I have not had the opportunity to open the freezer yet (still eco mode).
I checked the change in temperature settings with a thermometer - it remains at the set temperature.
On the left side, inside the refrigerator, at the bottom, there is a black round sticker - setting it to 2 degrees and cooling it down causes the green word "OK" to appear - this is the easiest way to check if the refrigerator is working properly.
I do not know if an inverter compressor was used, but if so, the power of the compressor can be regulated, not the time it is turned on - after all, nofrosts and airflows must also work from time to time and may require minimal compressor work.
Let me just remind you that this type also gives off heat from the sides, so a few centimeters from the walls and furniture should be provided.
Generally, the subject "flickered" a bit, so in my free time I will pay attention to her work.
    Best regards.
