Without service mode, you can't write what's going on?

There are only a few key faults in the dishwasher and they can be diagnosed without the service mode.

Probably a damaged wash pump or starting capacitor if there is one. It is also worth checking the heater and whether the voltage to the pump comes when the dishwasher stops taking water.

You see, you want a description of the service mode, and you do not give the exact model of the dishwasher because 5834, if it's a good designation, it is only partial, probably a few letters are missing (Beko DIN5834). Is the repair worth it? You would have to diagnose what is damaged, there is no diagnosis, it is impossible to say about the costs.

The mode in which the dishwasher performs diagnostics and displays errors is enabled as follows:
    - turn off the dishwasher,
    - press and hold the washing start button (PLAY / PAUSE) and the (POWER) switch at the same time
    - after about 10s the list of errors (ER1 ....) will appear

I can bet that the washing pump is not working and humming after the water is drawn.
    It should be audible

    Beko DIN5833 dishwasher

Service mode fired up and does a test from P1 to P9. Is there a manual somewhere describing what it does at any given P? I get an Er3 error at the end. The heater is ok, about 29 ohm
The NTC sensor is also about 30 kΩ or 60 kΩ, I can't remember anymore. The only noticeable moment is the heater has voltage and it disconnects the thermostat at the heater, and I guess it's the electronic module and thyristor that should disconnect the heater? Does anyone even have a manual for this model?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around activating the service mode in the Beko DIN5834 dishwasher to diagnose issues preventing it from starting. Users describe symptoms such as water accumulation at the bottom and the program timer not decreasing. Suggestions for troubleshooting include checking the wash pump, starting capacitor, and heater functionality. A specific method to enter service mode is provided: turn off the dishwasher, then press and hold the washing start button and power switch simultaneously for about 10 seconds to display error codes. Concerns about the cost-effectiveness of repairs versus purchasing a new unit are also raised, given the dishwasher's recurring issues over five years.
