I have a problem with Trafic from 2013, suddenly the central locking with remote control stopped working. The battery in the remote was replaced but it didn't help. The car lights up normally. The locks themselves also work properly, i.e. all doors close with the console button.

    What may be the problem?

ps unfortunately I haven't tested the second key, the car is still on the road.

First you need to check the remote control itself if it is still transmitting, you can search for a possible fault in the car, or if it is because I can't check the coding procedure of the remote control now.

This model has no coding procedure for the remote control, it is not possible for the remote control to decode. If the remote control is transmitting, the central one should work.

Replacing the key with the second one helped, i.e. the second spare key works very well. So what could be the problem with the first key if you write "could not decode"?

Transfer of all mcu and RF amplifier - if available.
he might as well not smoke if the pilot is with
coil on the PCB, not separately in the housing. AND AT 95% YOU HAVE
90% microcracks on pcb or resistance or cracked capacity.
A hot air gel station or trained handles with a precision soldering iron usually help.
If you don't have experience - let someone earn who can.
Because you give to the pestle and spoils the amen it will be - it was.
It breaks remote controls strength x rape and xx hundreds of press cycles.
    Life itself .

In summary, a damaged pilot PCB? it's easier to write about repairs :)
Optically, it doesn't look like it has any cracks

I am ashamed to admit, my colleague at the keychain changed the battery, so the battery was excluded. But another key fighter (my checked one) checked that the battery was weak (although theoretically new) and it turned out that the replacement with a new battery resolved the matter. Also, not every key seller sells a good (undated) battery.

Topic summary

The user reported a malfunction with the central locking system of their 2013 Renault Trafic II, where the remote control stopped working despite a battery replacement. Responses suggested checking the remote control's transmission and noted that this model does not have a coding procedure for the remote. A follow-up indicated that using a second key resolved the issue, leading to speculation about potential damage to the first key's PCB or battery quality. Further discussion highlighted the importance of ensuring the battery is functional, as even new batteries can be faulty.
