    Hello everyone.
I have a problem with Renault Trafic II 2006, namely the central locking remote control does not work in the new key.
    From the beginning:
I bought a used key for this car, changed PCF7946 to a new one, milled the tip, programmed it with the OPCom by Vivaro.
The car starts on both keys but the remote control works only on the old one.
The driver sees that there are 2 keys with RF.
My question: how to run this second remote control?

And pcf was precoded? If not, it will only fire.

The transponder has nothing to do with the central locking

If the transponder is separate it has no connection but if, like soldered here, the remote control enters with the immo. Not all used remotes work in another car. You need to clean.

PCF 7946 supports the remote control and for this you need to do it the initial configuration (precoding). If it has already been programmed for the car then it remains to be replaced with a new one because this one is already blocked.

It remains for him to clean-reset, there is a special programmer PCF79XX prog or PCF replacement again, a precode and re-uploading.

ok thanks a lot for the answers. I bought a new precoded transponder and it worked the first time.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around programming a new remote control for a 2006 Renault Trafic II using OPCom by Vivaro. The user encountered an issue where the central locking remote control did not function with a newly programmed key, despite the car starting with both keys. Responses highlighted the importance of precoding the PCF7946 transponder for remote functionality, as well as the possibility that the used remote may not be compatible with the vehicle. Suggestions included cleaning or resetting the remote, and ultimately, the user resolved the issue by purchasing a new precoded transponder, which worked successfully.
