    Welcome,
I bought a car from Germany with VSI Prins Gas. When buying, I did not have the opportunity to test gas, because no one had the right tip. When I bought a properly extended tip and filled up with gas, it turned out that the car did not switch to gas. I am from the vicinity of Gubin, I called in stations dealing with LPG installations and I learned that the nearest station that will serve me this installation is in Poznan.

Here my question appears. Is it worth to leave the existing installation and purchase the interface, download the appropriate software and with your help run this installation or convert it in Gubin at the gasifier for installations with the STAG controller?

An important piece of information will probably be that when you start the installation with the control unit you hear a "pop" at the bottle and under the hood. After which it does not switch to gas, only the control panel emits audible signals that annoy the ear. The car in which the installation is installed is the BMW e38 728i.

Thank you in advance for your interest and all help.

Does it sound in a special way? Have you looked at any advice related to this installation? Here on the electrode and here http://lpg-forum.pl/vsi-prins.html?

It will be more sensible to change to a central unit which will be overwhelmed by the vast majority of gas operators, on the other hand, if you do not meet a good gazer, you will end up doing "do it yourself" anyway.

I also think it would be wise to convert it to STAG. But what does it involve? All you need to do is open the control panel? I mean, whether these electrical beams are universal. I must also ask how much it will call for such a service, because it may turn out that it is better to buy the interface and to figure it out myself.
In the second BMW (e46) I have STAG and everything is simple, there are no connections to the probe or to the engine speed sensor, and in Prins they can be like that. It would be fun if it was simple and plug & play. My point is that after replacing the control unit under the old beam, tuning and departure. :)

edit. I found out that in Zielona Góra (exactly on Chynów) there is a workshop that supports Prins installations, so it is better to start it, because the STAG modification would cost 1800 PLN. So the topic can be closed or even removed.

edit. installation works - the gas pressure sensor was to blame. :) I close the topic :)
