    Hello.

I have a question, is it possible to use BlueTooth in Windows 7 without additional software, or if not, is there any free alternative to Bluesoleil? I once had a license and it worked even though I had some problems there, but unfortunately, after one update, it turned out that my license no longer covers it. It was quite a long time ago and I got used to BT. Now, however, I would like to use it again, but I don't really see the purchase of the current version of Bluesoleil.
So I'm looking for some other FREE software.
I am mainly interested in connecting with A2DP headphones and a pad.

    Greetings.

BT headphones work in Windows 7 without any additional software.
You add them in the BT window and they should appear as an additional audio output and a microphone, if one is built into the headphones.
I use BT headphones for Skype / Webex conferences and playing music.

    I hope that was it.

Hmmm. I'll check it at home, but my headphones have two profiles - a headset and stereo headphones, plus they have buttons to control the player.

    New facts.

First of all, as outrage yesterday the headphones refused to obey, and today I forgot to take them to work to undress and check what happened.
Secondly, I noticed that the computer absolutely does not see any BT devices.
In the next stage, I found that I had three unknown devices in the device manager. I came up with IDs that this is something from BT, even though Bluetooth proper is installed.
I tried to find drivers for these devices, but the first few did not work, and then I had to do something else. My BT is the simplest model for USB, bought once for two zlotys.
Today, maybe I will find more time to search, or throw IDs in the forum.

    New Facts 2 :)

However, I will give these IDs because something is not going well.

I installed the trial of Bluesoeil and the drivers for these devices were installed and everything worked correctly (of course, only two mega transfer). After uninstalling Bluesoelil, I have three unknown BT devices again.

Remove the receiver and try to uninstall all BT drivers. Put it back and it should be flickering. Also uninstall all BT programs.

    The controller worked. Thank you.
Unknown devices in the number of three pieces have "disappeared". Headphones have been detected, but I can't divert sound to them, and the icon looks like a headset :( .

It's raining, it doesn't detect at all.

Control panel - sound, playback tab - there you should have a choice.

Mark, I'm not really yesterday. If the matter were so obvious, I wouldn't bother you ...

I will put it this way:

When I had Bluesoeil, apart from the BSH-08 headset, I also had BSH-08 stereo headphones.

Personally, I had no case that BT did not work, and the only solution was BlueSoleil.
Probably everything is based on device drivers and / or residues (garbage) of BlueSoleil.

Since BlueSoleil installs efficient drivers, it may save them before uninstalling the program - manually or with a program such as DriverBackup.

After BS uninstallation, I restarted the system, flew CCleaner and rebooted again. But if you claim that you never had problems, then I will start a second computer that has never had BS, and the system is practically fresh.
I will check with the same receiver and let you know.

    EDIT:

On the second computer it is the same.
The headphone sees only as a headset, and the pad does not detect.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around using Bluetooth on Windows 7 without additional software, specifically seeking free alternatives to BlueSoleil for connecting A2DP headphones and pads. Users confirm that Bluetooth headphones can work natively in Windows 7, appearing as audio output and microphone devices. However, issues arise when the system fails to recognize Bluetooth devices, leading to troubleshooting steps such as uninstalling drivers and using driver identification tools. One user reports that their headphones are detected only as a headset, not stereo headphones, prompting further investigation into driver conflicts and system settings. Suggestions include checking the sound settings in the control panel and ensuring proper driver installation.
