Hello, I would like to advise. Namely, I bought an HDMI cable because I want to connect two monitors. I want to connect the LG FLASTRON M237WDP with the HDMI cable. I have DVI, HDMI, D-SUB connectors on the card. I want to connect the second monitor to the D-SUB connector, so far this TV set was connected to the d-sub and connected to it 3.5-jack 3.5 - jack to make it sound. The problem is that when connected via HDMI, the sound is gone, and by D-SUB it is. I know that the HDMI cable also transmits the sound but I have a pretty age card to which I should have such 'cables' that need to be connected to the motherboard and to the card, unfortunately lost. Do you have any ideas how can I 'block' the sound with HDMI? So that the sound would go through the jack and the image through HDMI? I will add that in the panel from NIVIDIA the sound is supposed to be off.

    System: Windows 10 home
Graphics card: Gainward GForce 9600 GT (1 GB)

Thank you in advance and best regards !

What kind of sound card do you have? One of these 'nvidia hdmi output' should be turned off, you must test.

Hello, the sound card is a regular card built into the disc, I have no idea how to do it any more, the problem is that I do not have SPDIF connectors for the graphics card so I would connect it to the disc. There is nowhere to even buy it. In the attachments I send additional information because I personally have finished the ideas.

Ps. Even if I turn these two off devices as default, the bars are green and 'jump' but the TV's sound is missing.

Yes, as I turn on these devices and set them as defaults, and so there is no sound and I want it not to be by hdmi only by jack to go. That's what it's all about...

I just want the sound to go on the cable jack - jack which one end I have plugged into the computer (green output on the back) and the other to the TV and the D-SUB cable is honey. The Hdmi cable blocks my sound through the jack and I want to get rid of it so that despite the HDMI cable on which the image goes, it has the sound that goes through the jack.

You should look for such an option in the TV settings, i.e. the sound source.

    PS.

Well, why should the sound on the HDMI connector be like a card not connected to the motherboard ?!

PS2. In my advertisements you have cables: https://www.elektroda.pl/rtvforum/topic3292051.html

What are you writing about? The TV is connected via HDMI to the 9600GT graphics card.

The problem is that when you have a TV connected via HDMI to the card, one of these devices "hdmi output" should be active - if it is not something to do with the graphics card driver. Uninstall, remove residual driver with sweeper and then install.

I do not think we understand a bit, I want the sound instead of the HDMI cable to go through the jack - jack that I have plugged in all the time. Is it possible to turn off the sound from HDMI and make it from the jack? Because HDMI somehow disables me from the jack

    What are you writing about?

After all, this card does not have an integrated audio codec, and to be audio through HDMI you need to connect the card to the motherboard?

As for the subject, maybe the TV turns off the analog audio connection when the HDMI cable is connected?

Maybe it only turns off how to turn it back on?
