    Hello,

    Basic information:
    A friend lives in the town of Barłogi (Lubusz Voivodeship) GPS: 51.944926 15.060110 51?56'41.73 '' N 15?03'36.40 '' E
    Inter Mobilny in t-mobile.
    Equipment:
    Asus rt-ac51u
Alcatel Link Key IK 40 modem
and 2 other modems (if I know their models, I will give one of them had an additional antenna)

    Problem:
Mobile internet T-mobile worked "well" for 1 month, after 1 month it stopped. As mentioned, a friend used a hot spot shared on the phone. I checked my devices at home. I have max 2km to the transmitter. It is true that speed did not catch up but it worked stably. I am 99% convinced that he has a coverage problem. There are a lot of forests around, max 2 lines on the phone, often 1-2 lines.
The card inserted into the phone is still somehow the Internet but the modem or modem + router practically does not connect.

I think the best solution would be to sell your current equipment and invest in a modem + external antenna or router + external antenna.
Question: What is currently "cheap" on the market that would allow us to obtain stable coverage. Could be used equipment.
ps: There is also an option to leave the router, check the other modem models and buy the antenna. Of course, after checking whether the router supports the modem.

You can try with a directional antenna connected to the modem and set towards the nearest transmitter - we tested with a friend, it wasn't much faster, but it was much more stable. Felling, disconnection and various undesirable effects are over.

    Hey,
I think so too, it's important that it's stable, nothing more. I will find out what equipment it has and I will arrange the connector and antenna for the equipment.
Near her town is even LTE range working on the 800Mhz band from T-mobile. The town of Bobrowice, about 2km away.
Will this antenna be good? Http://www.cybertech.com.pl/p89,antena-atk-10-13-5dbi-kabel-fme-z.html Is there any cheaper alternative? (May be a drug)

If the BTS LTE800 T-mobile in Bobrowice works or rather so, then the OK antenna selection, only two pieces placed one element vertically and the other horizontally. Connectors for modems. a friend chose the tragic Alcatel. how does it work with this asus on which FW?

Why 2 pieces? There is no chance to settle it for 1? How to assemble it later?
The modem works with Asus, I do not remember FW but I suppose it did not do any update (as she said, it did not work from the beginning, it has it since December) I carried out the update proposed by the router. FW works on both. Anyway, I will have it with me check it carefully.
ps: The router also supports my modem huawei e3131 s2.

LTE works in MIMO hence two antennas if you want to get the maximum speeds. A friend must start by purchasing an LTE modem supported by Asus. Probably E3372.
