Hello,
Basic information:
A friend lives in the town of Barłogi (Lubusz Voivodeship) GPS: 51.944926 15.060110 51?56'41.73 '' N 15?03'36.40 '' E
Inter Mobilny in t-mobile.
Equipment:
Asus rt-ac51u
Alcatel Link Key IK 40 modem
and 2 other modems (if I know their models, I will give one of them had an additional antenna)
Problem:
Mobile internet T-mobile worked "well" for 1 month, after 1 month it stopped. As mentioned, a friend used a hot spot shared on the phone. I checked my devices at home. I have max 2km to the transmitter. It is true that speed did not catch up but it worked stably. I am 99% convinced that he has a coverage problem. There are a lot of forests around, max 2 lines on the phone, often 1-2 lines.
The card inserted into the phone is still somehow the Internet but the modem or modem + router practically does not connect.
I think the best solution would be to sell your current equipment and invest in a modem + external antenna or router + external antenna.
Question: What is currently "cheap" on the market that would allow us to obtain stable coverage. Could be used equipment.
ps: There is also an option to leave the router, check the other modem models and buy the antenna. Of course, after checking whether the router supports the modem.
