Hello. I have an unusual 5S problem. My glass broke, and because it is not worth replacing the glass itself, I bought the whole set for PLN 80. I connected a bare set to the phone and everything worked fine. Both LCD and touch. A strange problem appeared after moving the lumber, ie the button, sheet metal, webcam, loudspeaker, etc. After switching the screen and reconnecting the screen does not work ..... I am sure that the iPhone turns on because when I supply power from the laboratory power supply, I can see changes in current. I have replaced the set under the warranty with a new one. I plug in a bare set and everything works fine. I change the speaker, button and the rest, connect the finished set and again the silence does not work. I also tried to remove the button and the rest but the screen is already completely dead. I wonder what could be the reason for such a thing, because there you can't really break anything by translating these elements. I will have the third set and I'm sure it will be the same. Please help.

    Hello.

And my experience shows that the screws that hold the speaker have been changed, they are of different lengths and you probably drilled one through the LCD controller.
You can also replace the screws on the plate holding the LCD strip, it is not so easy to repair there ...

    Best regards.

I have not even screwed the cymbals and each new LCD works also the tracks on the disc are OK. I read about this issue. In the area of the loudspeaker, I think I chose good screws, but I don't question it. Maybe I made a mistake. In the case of the next assembly, I will choose the shortest possible one to be sure. In general, I am curious if the tape on which the camera speaker is, etc., can affect the LCD because maybe it is damaged and there is a short circuit somewhere that burns the LCD after connecting everything together and then nothing can be done.

The tapes, especially in displays for PLN 80, have to be handled very carefully. Maybe that's the problem. In general, the display works regardless of the tape you write about and I have not encountered anything like this
