    Hello
I have installed a recorder with 4 Hikvision cameras in the new headquarters.
Internet is provided by cable TV. They gave me a modem-router to which I cannot log in, as if not to change the configuration. I have the Internet on a permanent IP. The internet provider requests an additional fee for wi-fi to work on his modem-router. For me, this is a scandal and I bought an additional TP-Link router that spreads the Internet in my company. I wanted to connect my camera set to the Internet so that I could have a preview from home. I just don't know that to bite it.
I know that I have to redirect the ports, but due to the fact that I cannot log in to the cable modem, I do not know if I can connect the recorder to the TP-Link router and set the ports there.
Can any of my colleagues help me?
    greetings

Unless it is a company secret, will a colleague reveal the model of this recorder to us?

Sosarek, I read these descriptions, but it says about the port settings there.
And my problem is that I cannot log into the cable router / modem and redirect ports. I connected a TP-LINK router to the cable router and it spreads Wi-Fi to me, as I wrote above. And it is TPLink that I want to connect a recorder. But I don't know if it will work that way. Because the ports will be open only in TPLINK and what about the ports in the cable router?

Additionally, if the recorder has Ezviz in its network settings, you don't have to do almost anything.

Please describe to me in a few words how you preview via ezviz. As for me, it is not so hopping, especially sharing the view with friends when the head of the family and his spouse want to have a preview. Because the whole sharing procedure is not simple and fast for me. And hik connect is a misunderstanding because you still have to log in to ezviz to share with your friends and your friend has to accept via ezviz. Does it look like this for you too?

Yes, it does not take half a day, contrary to appearances, the advantage is that it works on every link.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around configuring a Hikvision DS-7604NI-E1 recorder with four Hikvision cameras to connect to a TP-Link router for remote access. The user faces challenges due to the inability to log into the cable modem/router provided by the ISP, which prevents port redirection necessary for remote viewing. Suggestions include using the Ezviz feature in the recorder's network settings, which may simplify the setup process. However, concerns are raised about the limitations of port forwarding when using a secondary TP-Link router connected to the primary modem/router.
