    Hi,

Fibaro promotes its motion sensor in the videos https://www.fibaro.com/pl/products/motion-sensor/ as the external one but it turns out it is not. The manufacturer states that the operating temperature is 0 - 45 C. Question for you guys, how can I tune it to withstand freezing temperatures in the city down to max -10 C and the effects of rain? Silicone on the contacts but what about the battery and temperature?

I don't want to replace it with another as it has super options and configurations.

Which exact model do you have in mind?
The FGMS-001 can operate from -20-100 degrees, but nowhere does it say that they can be mounted outdoors.
By the way, change the content of the topic to something appropriate.

Yes, you mean this model. So it probably just needs to be sealed against water.

    Thanks!

I'm explaining now, I mean, are there any people here who have converted this type of battery operated toy to some IP level. Is it possible to buy any special low temperature resistant batteries for it?

If you already write about the waterproof rating, e.g. IP67. The manufacturer does not write anything about the possibility of using it outdoors, by the way, on the website you have a contact to him.

It is obvious that battery life is reduced under conditions other than those recommended.
In addition to this, consider that the casing is very thin, making the electronics more susceptible to damage.
