Hello
I have a question about connecting a Sony 55xe8577 TV with the PS4 pro console.
the console is hooked up with a hdmi cable to the TV set and an optical cable to the STR-DN860 sony receiver, the television is connected to the console and the receiver (receiver for HDMI input with ARC support).
All TV settings are on automatic and the picture mode on the game.
In the const's settings, everything was also marked automatically.
Consoleat is displayed in the console settings:
resolution: 3840 x 2160 - 60 Hz
color format: YUV420
hdr in your tv: 2K / 4K
HDCP: 2.2
hdr is only available in 2k resolution. check the TV set-up.
I tried to change game mode settings (change settings for additional functions related to image and color improvement - automatic or completely disabled), I changed the console connection to a TV socket with ARC support and tried several different cables, but still can not use HDR in 4k resolution.
the question is: did sony cut into the shaft and release dedicated TV to the console with limited possibilities (HDR only in 2K), or maybe you need to change the settings elsewhere to use a full-value image.
