I can't put the hdmi 5.1 sound on the console while having a 4k image. Namely, when I connect the Xbox to TV via HDMI, I have a 4k image but I can not set the 5.1 sound on the console. Of course, the sound comes out of the speakers from the cinema, but only in stereo, and when I connect the consoles to the cinema and only from the cinema to the TV, I can set the sound to 5.1 but then there is no picture in 4k.

The equipment is Samsung ue48ju6000k tv and the home theater is Samsung ht-c5530

I have the same. What can be done, can something be done at all?
Can Xbox one s support 4k and 5.1 audio simultaneously?
Nobody gives such information, but the ads talk about "cheap home cinema", "two in one", etc.
    Can someone help?

Xbox to tv via hdmi and then there is 4k and cinema via optical to tv. I also have hdmi instead of optician. The second option is the console via HDMI to the cinema and from the cinema to the TV. In this setting, I have surround sound but I do not have 4k because the image from xboz still flies through the cinema

    cinema by optical to tv.

And why not the console directly under the cinema?

A colleague did not understand what I quoted.
From the console via HDMI cable straight to the TV
Optical cable straight From the console to the CINEMA!

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the issue of achieving both 4K video output and 5.1 surround sound from an Xbox One S when connected to a Samsung UE48JU6000K TV and a Samsung HT-C5530 home theater system. Users describe their connection setups, noting that when the Xbox is connected directly to the TV via HDMI, 4K video is available, but only stereo sound is output. Conversely, connecting the Xbox to the home theater system via HDMI allows for 5.1 surround sound, but sacrifices 4K video quality. Various connection configurations are explored, including using optical cables and direct HDMI connections, but no definitive solution is provided for simultaneous 4K and 5.1 audio output.
