Hello, I bought a Navitela car camera and I have a problem with connecting it to the computer with a USB cable. The computer does not detect it, no sounds. I would like to add that no CD with software was attached to the webcam. What's the problem? Thank you in advance for your answers.

Probably this webcam, does not have the function of working with a computer. Reading recordings directly from the card inserted into the computer.

There are no options, in the device manager also nothing changes when connecting the disconnection of the webcam. Then why do they connect the USB cable? :D

Connect to another computer for verification.

It follows that only you can load it via a USB port. Only the microsd card adapter can be used for dumping. You can close.

I have the same problem. The computer can not see the webcam. I called to Navitel.pl and they told me that you need to connect USB to the webcam, not the base, but it does not work. They said there was an option. They sent me an email, but he does not explain anything. Windows does not detect the camera, so you can not install the driver. I think the only way is to rip directly from the microsd card.
I will continue to harass them, maybe they will come up with something.

@ majooo999 @ mariner4 - Did you solve the problem? Was there any constructive response from Navitel?
I ask because I have the same problem, and in several places on the Internet (even in camera reviews on Youtube ), specifically in one of the author's comments is the information that the camera is seen as memory:

    Quote:
I do not know, it detects me as an external disk.

    So how is it finally?

My Navitel R600 is not detected by USB.
Edit: here they write that apparently some are https://www.elektroda.pl/rtvforum/topic3322930.html
From my perspective, however, this is unnecessary functionality, the recording can be moved once every few months if something happens and you can easily use the adapter.

    Hello,
The problem lies in changing the camera software or electronics design.
I have a camera purchased from 2016 (version 1.00.15), and a new camera bought a month ago (soft 1.00.28).
In the older version, after connecting the USB port (camera port) a menu appears with options: Mass storage / PC camera / Camcorder.
This is not the case in the new camera, I also noticed that it can work independently, without a base battery (the older one immediately loses the memory of the date and time), probably this port in the side wall is used to charge the internal battery.
For me personally, this is a stupid change, because it forces you to have an adapter / card reader and insert / remove the card, but
    difficult.

I received a response from the seller - changing the software of the camera forced Windows10, problems with detecting the camera, interrupting
when ripping movies and long copying time. Apparently, this is not the first producer who stopped supporting computer communication.

    Greetings,
    Paul.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues with connecting the Navitel R600 car camera to a computer via USB, with users reporting that their computers do not detect the device. Several users suggest that the camera may not support direct USB connection for data transfer, instead requiring users to access recordings via the microSD card. Some users mention that older versions of the camera had options for different connection modes, while newer models lack this functionality, leading to confusion. There are suggestions to verify the connection with different computers and to check for any software updates or instructions from the manufacturer. Overall, the consensus is that the camera may primarily function for charging via USB rather than data transfer.
