Maybe first write for what purpose you want to change this power supply? Besides how green are you, never plugged the PSU to the board, or are you just having trouble choosing the PSU?

Any atx power supply available on the market can be used. It only needs to be plugged into such an adapter to power this series of hp computers.
What does the adapter look like https://pl.aliexpress.com/item/Hot-24pin-to-6...upply-Cable-Cord-for-HP-Z220/32809296818.html
How does such an adapter work https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UED6CKd7iWk

The reason is given in the adjacent thread https://www.elektroda.pl/rtvforum/topic3337777.html
that is the planned purchase of the GTX750ti card.
Judging by the picture, the low-profile card with a low herring, even a two-slot card, should somehow get there / measure the max dimensions with a ruler and check /:

But it is not possible not only the power supply, because its power is sufficient - as is the motherboard - see the manual http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02778024
table 2-1 - the load of the PCIEx socket is planned 25W, maybe it will go with the 55W card, but maybe what will burn ???

In general, the issue of modernizing tiny SFF computers is a problematic matter :-)

It doesn't matter, the adapter powers each hp pro SFF series motherboard. Contrary to appearances, its construction is not complicated.

Generally, these types of office computers are not suitable for major modernization. They were not intended for such use.

There is I3 / i5 / i7 2gen in this hardware, so up to 95W. On the stubborn GTX750Ti it should be pulled by the current power supply, but since the slot is able to provide 25W, it would be appropriate to buy a card with an external power socket (6pin) and connect the power there.

In general, there is still a question whether such a set in a small tight housing will not overheat a little at full load. These kits were not designed for long-term loads, and they are unlikely to occur in office work.

If you have not bought this computer yet, I would consider a different approach, because buying an office sff with the hope of modernizing it for games is such a plan.

The housing in this case matters quite a lot, because it is BTX and you cannot count on putting these guts into the standard housing.

I have not seen any GTX750Ti in the Low Profile version and with an additional power socket (all I had in my hand did not have this socket).

You have one more problem - looking at the drawing thrown in by my colleague r103, it looks like this card is not only low, it should not be too long.

If I were you, I would return this computer and approach it correctly (think first, then buy, not the other way around). You will lose a lot on adapting this computer to your needs, and in addition you will be forced to make a few weak compromises (limitations in the availability of elements).

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around upgrading the power supply of an HP Compaq 8200 Elite Small Form Factor (SFF) computer from a 12V 240W unit to a 450W model to support a GTX750Ti graphics card. Users suggest that any ATX power supply can be used with an appropriate adapter to connect to the HP motherboard. Concerns are raised about the limitations of SFF computers for gaming upgrades, including potential overheating and space constraints. The original poster clarifies that they are willing to modify the housing to accommodate the new components. Recommendations include considering external power supplies for the graphics card and ensuring compatibility with the motherboard's power requirements.
