Hello everyone,
I recently switched to internet (Fiber power 60 Mb / s) and TV with UPC. I got a Horizon set-top box that also functions as a router. I have a problem downloading uTorrent via wi-fi. My maximum speed is 1.1-1.2 MB / s. The situation changes when the computer is connected to the Horizon via a cable - the speed jumps to 7-10 MB / s depending on the seeds. I know that the speed on the cable will always be higher than on wi-fi, but it seems to me that maybe there is some limitation on the part of Horizon on Wi-Fi download? Possibly something in uTorrent settings need to change? The situation is strange, because when I start a new download, the speed spins to the aforementioned 1.2 MB / s max, then drops to e.g. 800 kB / s and increases again to 1.2 and so on.
Maybe it's a port problem? I don't have a green arrow in uTorrent, but when it comes to ports, I'm completely green.
What could be the reason for this? Someone help? :)
best regards
