    Write what you tried.
Has the drive been working so far?
If so, try changing the disk mode in Bios from AHCI to IDE, or vice versa.
Also check if the disk is visible in the BIOS?

It was working. I have my T5400 station next to it and everything is flashing on it, the disks are visible.
However, in the T5600 in the BIOS, it can see disks and not during installation.
I also downloaded the driver for the Chipset and fired from the pendrive during installation and it does not see them either.

In my BIOS I can only disable AHCI or enable, I have ATA, AHCI or disabled options there which I tried too and nothing: /

I also switched from UEFI to Legacy and vice versa and also nothing: /

I tried Windows 7 and Windows 10 both do not see: / I install from a bootable flash drive created in Rufus.

    BIOS update also performed.

    Drama: /

    Ok.
Rufus - Have you tried both "partitioning scheme and target system type" options?
    If not, try:
MBR partitioning scheme for BIOS or UEFI
    GPT partitioning scheme for UEFI

I tried the first one because it is set by default so I thought it was ok, I will try as you say now this option with GPT.

Scan the disk through HD Tune and see if the disk has bad sectors or bad sectors.

it's my BIOS and driver, unfortunately, after installation by Load Driver, the disks are not displayed either.

and unfortunately after creating the system on a USB flash drive as GPT for UEFI, they are not visible either :( There is also no option in my BIOS such as Secure Boot that could be disabled because I also read such tips.

SSD drive (Toshiba), it is not even a year old, so it is definitely ok. Besides, none of the available drives is displayed, but everything is on the older Dell. My guess is that this may be the motherboard's fault probably the quickest, but I can't figure it out. Day 4 is already tiring ... :( Help :/

    HD Tune Pro: ATA
    TOSHIBA THNSNJ12 Error Scan
    Scanned data: 127 gB
    Damaged Blocks: 0.0%

    EDIT
Phew ... the drive had to be connected to the SATA input ... in my computer there are 6: 4 HDD and 2 SATA. The disks were connected to the HDD0 and HDD1 inputs, and in this case the installer did not see them, but the problem is solved, after connecting the disk to the SATA input, the installer sees the disk intended for system installation. Thanks for your help and best regards :)

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues faced while installing Windows on a Dell T5600 Workstation, where the installation process fails to recognize the disks despite them being visible in the BIOS. The user has attempted various solutions, including changing disk modes (AHCI/IDE), switching between UEFI and Legacy modes, and using different Windows versions (7 and 10) with a bootable USB created via Rufus. Suggestions from other users include checking the partitioning scheme in Rufus (MBR vs. GPT), scanning the disk for bad sectors, and ensuring the correct drivers are loaded during installation. The user suspects a potential motherboard issue as the disks work fine in a T5400 model.
