Hello. Due to the fact that I changed my laptop to another model from the same manufacturer - Dell - I would like to install a ssd disk on the system. I have a Samsung EVO 128 Gb SSd drive and on it was an old system from an old laptop I would like to format the drive and install clean windows from the Microsoft website. My question - how should I do it? Should I format the disk or maybe I can directly install it using the Microsoft windows utility without formatting the disk? I would like the disk to be clean - i.e. without accretions of the old system. Second question - does the Dell 5767 laptop connect to M2 disks? Thank you and best regards. J

In my opinion, it is necessary to format the disk, it will allow you to avoid assumptions, residues of garbage, etc. on the old disk, which will contribute to the efficiency of the system. As for the second question, check the techn. Data. laptop and there you will find the answer.

I formatted the drive and continued problems with windows. I made an installation pendriva from Microsoft. All the system loads and, of course, the famous message - You can not install Windows on this drive. The selected disk contains MBR partition tables. On systems with an EFI interface, windows can only be installed on GTP disks. I press shift and f10 to change partitions and nothing happens. Next thing - I can not go in cmd. Help what to do ..?

You have to enter the computer's BIOS and set it up with UEF on "Legacy Support" and confirm and install in your case Windows system. Mostly this is how I suppose Win 7

Delete all partitions from the disk and the installation will go on ... just what system? If Win 8 or later and want to use the license in MSDM (i.e. the laptop was preinstalled with Windows) then you are doomed to UEFI.
