    Hello
Recently, after updating from Win 8.1 to 10, I had problems with USB 3w Dell 7347 (which I also wrote about on the forum). According to Microsoft and Dell hotlines, a fresh Win10 installation is needed. Finally, I found time and prepared the flash drive as described on the Microsoft website.
Unfortunately, while booting with a pendrive I have an error message:
    file: winload.efi
    error: 0xc0000098
After starting Win 10 and trying to run the installer, I get the message: "The installer cannot initialize the working directory"
The disk is an SSHD with a free C 77.6GB space

Do you have an idea how to get your computer to run Win 10 correctly?

Disk in MBR or GPT (settings in UEFI compatible with the chosen installation method)?
I have the impression that the "place on C:" alone may be a bit small.

    PS
Installing "in place", ie overlays - then it will keep files and settings - have you tried? At least to check if it can be carried out from the same installer.

Unfortunately, there are very few variables in this laptop and little information to view. In UEFI (after calling it F12) I choose boot from USB. In Win it shows GPT partition style.

    77GB free from 118GB (Current 10 win after 2 years takes 40GB)

Unfortunately, the installer does not boot from the above errors :(

Or maybe it's the fault of the partition settings ?? Can you delete three empty partitions? (in the photo)

This "little bit" applied to the other partitions besides C:.
If nothing, in the form of data that must be on the disk, prevents you from starting from scratch, the best IMHO solution is to remove the partitions (all of them) and let the installer "arrange" them on the disk by himself.
By the way, you may wonder whether it should be GPT or MBR - in the latter case, you would probably have to change this and that in the BIOS (UEFI).
If there is still something wrong with the installation after repartitioning, it is still possible that the installer itself is damaged (incorrectly created).

And it went :) I did not delete the partition because it turned out that the installation on the pendrive is damaged. Although it was not certain, because after each use of Media Creator from Microsoft, the pendrive preparation process was a success. Maybe it's the pendrives' fault, because only the third pendrive started correctly (all pendrives were 16GB). The one formatted with the FAT32 file system started.
PS. Unfortunately, after installing WIN 10, errors with USB3 keep repeating :(
