I like the Faac 414 or Bennica bill 40 the most, but when I browse the posts, there is often the topic of the lack of warranty for self-assembly, there is a good drive that you can mount yourself ?. I also looked at Allegro, there are whole Facc 414 sets at a good price, the seller is an authorized representative, what is the warranty case in this case?

All gate drives are covered by the warranty if they are installed by a service technician. Some instructions say "gate operator for self assembly". And in the terms of the warranty it is written that the warranty is given only by the assembly of a qualified employee. I know that one contradicts each other but it is so. This is understandable because the manufacturer cannot answer if you select the wrong angles for the cylinders, wing length or wing weight for the given drive. I have already installed many gates (I am not a qualified employee) and I have never had problems, the condition is only to choose the right drive for the given gate and adjust the angles of the actuators according to the instructions. The companies you write about are not companies from the bottom shelf and I think you can handle their installation and there will be no problem.

Also consider the new Phobos. Regarding self-assembly - I advise against it. Anyway, BFT also guarantees only if you commission it to a fitter. Compared to the price of the drive, this should not be a very high cost.

But somehow it goes a lot on Allegro, a complete set for PLN 1485, I call the price they hold PLN 2100, the difference is PLN 600 as small as for me, especially since I already have a flat bar from the posts, I have made bumpers, I have a welder, "electrician - measurements" "up to 750V. I also learned that the issue of "raising" the guarantee (when buying on Allegro) is also dealt with in case of problems, so I will probably decide.

I recommend the ARM 400 drive (https://otobram.pl/product-pol-3334-LINEA-ARM400-naped-do-bramy-skrzydlowej-4-4m-400kg-ZESTAW.html) Certainly cheaper and easy to install. About five years ago I installed four such gates and they all go to this day, I really recommend it.

They do not write anything about the mounting parameters, and I have 37cm posts, hinges in the middle, so quite large dimensions A and B, according to Faac 414 recommendations. I am afraid that they will not be able to fully open the gate.

Everything can be done. Read the instructions for an opening angle of 120 degrees, that's probably a lot. In addition, there are adjustment brackets included (You can weld or screw to those you already have in the posts and adjust on the original brackets)
