I am looking for a drive for a double-leaf gate suspended on wide posts (depth of hinges about 20 cm). The gate has leaves less than 2 m each, leaf weight less than 100 kg: steel structure + rails about 130 cm high.
Due to the fact that the entrance to the yard is "broken", I cannot use the central stop (I would hook the car's chassis against it). I would also like to avoid the stops in the open position. I was thinking about Moovo with a broken arm, but I read various opinions about the mechanical durability of such a solution.
Until now, I had some Chinese 24V actuators with built-in limit switches (my control panel supports limit switches, the control panel of some Polish company). The whole thing worked for almost 10 years, but finally the actuators are demanding to retire them (one has already completely broken down
