If it is possible to disassemble the case, it would be worth doing so and connecting the drive directly to the computer.

    Depends on disk or data?

Remove the drive from the case and check the behavior on a desktop computer.

Was the disk working at the time of the fall?

You can try to remove the disk and connect it directly to the computer. If it is detected, it will be possible to carry out some diagnostics, but I would not count on too much.

There will be a problem with unscrewing the housing. There are no screws here, I do not know if it can be dismantled.
The drive was not working at the time of the fall.
I care about the data on the disk. I already know that even if I do it by some miracle, you cannot rely.
One more thing, the disk beeps regularly for two minutes, it is also visible in disk management, but it cannot be initialized - this is the message.

OK, I opened it. Unfortunately, I am away from home. I can't access any computer except my laptop. I still have a question, can this disk be connected to a stationary computer at all? Plug as in the picture Post-Drop Failure of My Passport 1TB External Drive: Windows Detection Issues

I have corrected the spelling in your posts. Take care of her please. RADU23

Not that - there are different drives in these models.

    CrysatlDiskInfo shows something?

In Crystal, disc info doesn't show this disk, it shows it in disk management like I mentioned.
As for the engine, it looks as if it is jamming, it starts to walk and stops giving the beep I wrote about.

This is interesting, because this sata housing with a usb adapter will not fit
