    Hi,
I have the following problem - the headliner light does not go out after closing the car. Generally, the headliner lamp has three positions - continuous light when the door is opened and 0 - i.e. never. Currently, I have to use option 0. It looks like the headliner light is on when the door is open, and when I close the door, it doesn't want to go out, when I press the car lock, the light blinks and then it lights up, so it is as if it got a signal - turn off it turns on, but then it continues to glow.
Any ideas what can I check? Is it possible that the headliner lamp has some dimmer switch that broke and you just need to change the lamp? All the locks and microswitches work properly, anyway - earlier I had a Golf IV from 98, where the driver's microswitch did not work and it had nothing to do with it, because when the car was opened, the lights turned on and turned off after closing.
The car is a 2004 Seat Leon 1M.

Checked door switches? if there is an alarm, it is a bonnet / boot switch.

Thanks for the answer. Nothing was added, also the door switches to be checked, but there is some work to do with this: /, do you have any more ideas?

Standard bulb or LED? If the latter, check on the regular one.

All bulbs are standard. I am planning to change to LED lighting (not Chinese, but decent modules) and therefore I want to deal with the problem first. This is how I read on the internet about these limit switches, microswitches and nowhere do I see a case that the interior lighting does not go out, standard cases everywhere, i.e. the fuel pump does not start, no lighting after opening the driver's door, problems with door locking, etc ... , I will go to the garage today, do some research and if I do not get anything done, I will check these limit switches, because there is no other option.

maybe start by checking errors with VAG. This is the first step.
Microstics are not excluded after all. But it is a wish.
If you don't have VAG ask someone from e.g. leonclub forum.
