Hello, I can't scan to a folder from windows 10 (it works fine on xp) from what I already figured out, it's probably the old software in MP2000 (this is NIB: 6.04.4k).
Can any of the honorable colleagues help? has newer software.
I've been looking for two days and only drivers and nothing else.

I've been struggling with smb scanning on Conicy copiers recently, generally I advise you to set up an ftp server on your computer and ftp scan, I can include a simple and small ftp setup program if you wish. Generally speaking, this is the easier solution in my opinion.

Konica Minolta always scans via smb without any problems, so either my colleague has an archaic model or cannot set it up. In ricoh the firmware update will help and smb will work (as in most ricoh), but I don't have the firmware for this model.
    best regards

Exactly I had a problem with the bizhub C253 and I didn't have time to bother with it.
I installed ftpserver on the computer, indicated the folder to which the scans should go and that's it, the rest of what to do was indicate the address of this folder on the device, enter the user and password. Most importantly, it works without a problem.

After all, you do the same scan to SMB in C253 :) You create a folder, share it with full permissions to the Everyone group, disable password-protected sharing and on the machine you only enter the name displayed on the desktop, the host name (full computer name) and the path to the folder :) What like what, but Konica Minolta has a really simple SMB scan setup system - no additional software, no firmware updates, etc.

    Check the PW mailbox.
If it does not help, scan the email or ftp another solution is a file server on another machine with a different supported system /

The solution to the problem for me was to use this page:

    Link
I was helped on SMB Windows 10 2004 Ricoh MP C6003

    Summary for the lazy
    Enter ricoha telnet, change
    msh> smb client auth 1

in Windows powershell after enabling all options
    SMB Set-SmbServerConfiguration -EnableSMB2Protocol $true

If the prospective solution seeker does not understand what I wrote in the summary, read the solution from the link slowly. I didn't understand until the third reading, so take your time and you'll be fine.

From myself I will add that some time ago the windows 10 update disables the SMB protocol in version 1 and 2 in windows.

In order for it to work properly with some printers, you need to restart it (how to do it I send to uncle google)

The advice to run SMB 1.0 on Windows systems is very inappropriate and dangerous advice. Microsoft has disabled the SMB 1.0 protocol because a known vulnerability in this protocol could allow unauthorized access to the computer.

    Correct solution to this problem:

1- Updating the firmware of the device, if the manufacturer has prepared an appropriate update

2- Launch a server / proxy computer that will be used to capture files from printers (SAMBA SMB 1.0) and will allow these files to be downloaded by computers on the network via SMB 3.0 protocol

3- Use of other available protocols, ftp, smtp

Topic summary

✨ The discussion revolves around the Ricoh MP2000's inability to scan to an SMB folder on Windows 10, a feature that works on older systems like Windows XP. Users suggest that the issue may stem from outdated software or firmware. Some recommend setting up an FTP server as an alternative solution, while others emphasize the need for a firmware update to enable SMB functionality. There are mentions of other brands like Konica Minolta, which reportedly have simpler SMB setups. A few users highlight the risks associated with enabling SMB 1.0 due to security vulnerabilities and suggest using alternative protocols or a proxy server for file transfers.
