Inspection Camera Not Displaying Image on Huawei P 10 LITE Despite OTG and Working LEDs

Why does my inspection camera show no image on a Huawei P10 Lite even though OTG is working, the LEDs light up, and the camera works on another phone?

The most likely explanation is that the Huawei P10 Lite does not properly support this inspection camera/endoscope, even though it detects OTG and powers the LEDs. Several users reported the same behavior on Huawei phones: the device is detected, but no image appears in any app such as CameraFi, Scopecam, or OTG Endoscope, while the same camera works on laptops, tablets, or other phones [#16696614][#17226687] One reply specifically points out that Huawei states a maximum OTG power of 0.5A/5V on the P9 Lite 2017, which may be too little for the camera [#17453801] So the issue is most likely compatibility or power limitation on Huawei rather than a broken camera [#17226687][#17453801]

No image from the inspection camera on the huawei P 10 LITE. The camera has an OTG, I have tried various applications and there is no image on any of them, with the diodes in the camera shining, I do not know what the problem is. The camera works on another phone.

I personally have a cheap Chinese endoscopic camera. In the instructions nothing is written about it. But some sellers inform you that it will not work with phones equipped, for example, with MediaTek processors. What works. Check out the manual in this regard, see there on the internet on this topic. Perhaps a dog here is buried.

I also bought a webcam (endoscope) and there is no picture on any Huawei phone (P9, P10 Lite and Mate 10 Lite).
On a laptop or tablet, everything works so you can say that in the Huawei OTG phones it is just bajer, which does not work.

For me (Samsung Galaxy J5) one USB camera works and the other one is not (endoscope). Maybe you have a way to install missing drivers?

And why do you think about missing drivers? My endoscope is correctly detected by applications and the picture is missing.

It will not work ... Huawei informs that the maximum power supported in HUAWEI P9 Lite 2017 is 0,5A / 5V ... it can be little on the camera ....
