Gentlemen, I want to connect a set of LED daytime running lights with a twilight module that turns on the daytime running lights during the day and turns them off after dusk and turns on the dipped and parking lights.

Does anyone know where I can connect to the installation so that the module disconnects the dipped and parking lights and does not release any error or information about a blown bulb?

Does your Volvo have a twilight sensor factory fitted?

If you don't have it, install the factory one.

It has a so-called sun sensor. It is not a typical twilight sensor. The computer uses it to change the backlight of the clocks (it illuminates the clocks brighter in the sun) and to control the air conditioning. But there is no factory-fitted daytime running light configuration for this model.

I want to install an external twilight sensor and I am looking for a place to plug it in so that it turns off the dipped and parking lights.

You can activate the 'turn on lights' after starting the engine.

Can be turned on, but automatic dipped beam.

And that would be enough, even if the daylight burned all the time, they would take a negligible electricity. The daytime lights go out when the dipped beam is lit.

Yes, but the dipped beam when set to automatic switch on after the engine is started - regardless of whether it is day or night. And I want to plug in a twilight sensor which is to disconnect the dipped headlights during the day, regardless of how they will be turned on or with an automatic or switch.

This can be tricky, but you have to plug directly into the bulb circuits.

I am wondering about this solution, but I am afraid that if I stick with the relay in the bulb circuit in front of the bulb, which disconnects the wire going to the bulb, it will throw out an error about a blown bulb.

    It will probably happen.

And how did it go with those lights? I have the same problem.
