    Hello,

I have a vacuum cleaner from Amici, power 1600 WAT, quite new (bought in early March). For some 3-4 weeks, it was not used, then after starting it starts to be squeaky (louder, the more powerful). In topics of this type suggest problems with the pipe so I took out and still silently squeaked, after inserting the hand, to make it harder for the engine to go scattered properly - so not the pipe. After removing the bag, it does not squeal at all. The bag is reusable, once it was full and empty, there was no problem, now it is squeaking.
Is this something I can fix at home?
Thank you in advance. I will not squeeze my neighbors, so I have crap in the apartment, out of kindness.

Probably on the warranty, therefore no interference in, because the warranty is lost, And why not return it to the site?

    Thanks for the answer :)

I was hoping that this might be a small, idiotic fault and it does not require additional visits to the site. If, for example, the original bags or tube are just crappy (because they are in total, it shows), I do not know if running to the site with any bulky equipment is necessary.

And this voice is also how the vacuum cleaner will turn on without a bag and without a pipe?

    Added after 2 [minutes]:

I have not read carefully - maybe you need to place the sack more precisely?

As the first I suspected the pipe, then the sack - I emptied it, turned it around, put it in such a painstaking way, crushed it - nothing! She squeaks all the time. The greater the resistance when vacuuming, the more it squeaks (which is manifested by the fact that since I have a hairy carpet, the vacuum cleaner howls like a wild flock of teapots with a whistle after contact with it). On the other hand, I did not notice that it squealed after removing the sack, even when I tried to close the pipe outlet with my hand.

If nothing mechanically damaged, there is a leak in the lid wheel somewhere.

Thank you very much for your help! Indeed, the leak was at the sack (for a cheap vacuum cleaner, it comes out better, paper bags are better) and the pressure sensor whistled from it. Unfortunate, because paper bags are very expensive, but if someone does not care about the warranty, the sensor can be easily unscrewed.
    Best wishes!

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a squeaking issue with the Amica VI 2021 Viento vacuum cleaner, which started after a period of inactivity. The user initially suspected the vacuum's pipe and bag but found that the squeaking persisted regardless of these components. Responses suggested that the problem might be due to a leak in the bag or a pressure sensor issue. Ultimately, the user discovered that the leak was indeed at the bag, indicating that using paper bags could resolve the squeaking, despite their higher cost. The warranty implications of self-repair were also discussed.
