Hello, I recently bought the LG 32LH57 TV and to my surprise there is no jack input. I need the input to connect my speakers, so far I have connected them to each equipment using an aux cable, these are 2 speakers and a subwoofer, nothing special but the speakers built into the LG are a tragedy. Can you tell me what cable / adapter / adapter to buy so that everything starts working? Attached is the back of my TV and all the inputs at its disposal.

    Regards, Łukasz ;)

Nice, nice ... Only there will be no volume control by changing the volume with the TV remote control.
While these speakers have their own remote control, then the above solution is OK.

The latter is just a transition from one type of connector to another type, it does not change the signal parameters, so it probably does not.

Okay, so you need a converter, and some of you met with a converter that would have a 3.5mm jack input on the one hand, and an optical TOSLINK output on the other?

There are converters with TosLink optical output, but inputs have CINCH sockets.
But a colleague, if anything, needs a converter the other way around, i.e. the TosLink optical input and the stereo analog output.
I hope that my friend has read my previous post - I will quote its fragment:

    Please remember that.

And the mentioned optical adapter is used for something completely different and let your friend forget about it.

Okay, so I know almost everything, tell me, please, will I finally be able to enjoy my speakers connected to the TV with such a set?

The elements listed in the above entry should guarantee the transfer of sound to the TV speakers.
Remember to change the settings on the TV - set the optical output to PCM.

Instead of such a noname - please buy FiiO D3 instead.
And the other cables - the optical cable can stay that way, but the chinche-minijack ones should also be of better quality.
Because I can see that my friend "flies" at the cost.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connecting external speakers to the LG 32LH57 TV, which lacks a jack input. Users suggest using an optical output with a TOSLINK optical audio converter to RCA (Cinch) for connection. It is noted that volume control will not be available through the TV remote if this method is used. A user inquires about specific adapters and converters, leading to recommendations for a TosLink cable, an optical to RCA converter, and a Cinch to mini-jack adapter. The importance of setting the TV's optical output to PCM is emphasized for proper sound transfer. Suggestions for higher-quality components, such as the FiiO D3 converter, are also provided.
