TV LG 42LM5400: Connecting External Speakers using Optical Output & Remote Volume Control

Hello.

I know that a similar topic has already appeared in the forum, but I did not find the exact answer.
I have a tv LG 42LM5400 without headphone output. I would like to connect external speakers to the TV.

Outputs I have on TV:

I tried to connect the sound through Cinch, I also bought an EURO to Cinch adapter and everything does not work - there is no sound.

In TV options, I can set the optical output as sound output.
I know that I would need a converter, now the question is, if I connect such a converter, will the remote volume control work?

This euro connector looks like I / O (at least marked like that) so with a 6x cinch euro cable there should be a signal on the labeled cinch (output). There will be no volume control.

No, it won't work.
