    Hello, I need some quick advice. I configure this recorder at the client's place, but support does not help. Could someone give me the name of the application from which I could preview on ios and macos? The second thing is setup. The recorder is activated after entering the ip and password in the browser. But on Android I tried to connect to ports 8111 and 8101 (I set these ports in the network configuration). I also redirected the ports on the router (LTE router with T-mobile) but the XVR program for Android preview tries to connect for quite a long time and then throws the error "connection time out or network unstable). I would like to ask for some tips what to check. Regards

    Does your colleague have permanent public IP? The topic was discussed many times on the forum.

    I will believe in various things, but somehow I find it difficult to accept the information that the hardware vendor cannot indicate the right software. I will sooner believe that there is simply no such thing.

    It has a fixed public IP but it does not matter, the point is that the recorder does not report to the viewing port in the LAN network after the local ip and set port. It reports easily on the http port.
    Apparently, there is some software, because it worked somehow before. But I searched the internet a little and unfortunately I can't find anything specific. There is a VSS application, but I wanted to ask if anyone has used it and has a proven solution. Maybe any XVR preview app is enough?

    Once I was forced to use a device of this brand, (I do not recommend)
    I don't remember much, but from what I can see from the e-mails to the network administrator, it was necessary to redirect the ports you provide for work outside the facility (we had different ones because in this place other ones were used, set in the recorder and network gate) but from the e-mail I read that it also had to be open 27156 and the entire range 8000-9031
    Be sure to look for instructions on how to configure the network traffic on this device, especially as the symptoms indicate this

    And port forwarding is of any importance when connecting to a local network? I am in the process of replacing this recorder, but in total, out of curiosity, I wonder why the http connection works and the applications and preview no longer ...
