    Hello. I have a HIKVISION DS-7608NI-K2 recorder. The recorder has a hik-connect function thanks to which you can have remote viewing for free.
    And here the problem arises, the verification code is needed. And I can enter it myself ... Where can I find this code. There is only a serial number under the device.

    If the hik-connect status is not connected, then you need to check whether:
    1. he will be able to release PING onto the recorder from this network and whether he can enter his WWW panel,
    2. is there internet in the local network.

    Also, find out if your ISP is blocking ports. Apparently it's archaism, but it happens sometimes with local service providers.

    And the question is whether a fixed IP would not be more convenient?

    It seems to me that the correct DNS and gateway are most important for the cloud. The rest should not be a problem. Simply DVR must have Internet communication via DNS.
