    Hello,

Can anyone help me with the adjustment of the DROMA THP-40 4 sectional garage door?

For some time, she started to jump when opening (the second segment - from the top). I showed it in the attached video.

From what I can see, something is blocking the treadmill, but lower or on the other side.

Nothing's blocking it. I have a video of closing and opening (I cut this fragment out of it). It looks like the entire segment is skipping, but only on the side I was filming. The other side moves without jumping.

    Brush the roller shafts.

Check, buddy, all the screws that are in the guide, lubricate the axles of the rollers in the hinges, besides, check if any clamps of the roller axles have not loosened, additionally check the connections on the bend of the guide, vertical / horizontal. Check that all hinges are tightened or that the connecting pin has not jumped out of them.

I checked everything and lubricated it. It looks ok.
I have the middle hinges as shown in the pictures. In some, the lower screws twist a little (they go into the foam), but there are two more under the hinge that they hold.

I noticed that when manually lifting the gate and pressing in the middle of the second panel from the top (from the outside), there is no such jump.

All in all, it is possible that the panel jumps over the panel as the gate folds on a bend, so try to feel if the gate folds, sometimes it does not blur the panel or the side flashing of the panel

Basically nothing more than so far. Ie. the "gills" in the panels are slightly scratched, but that was the case right at the beginning.

So it remains to check the diagonals on the horizontal guides, and take the rollers out of the sleeves and check if there are any burrs on them and, if necessary, lubricate them.

I checked and relubricated. All right.
Anyone have an idea how to deal with this?
Is it possible to somehow adjust this gate?

I will write how the topic ended (better late than never).
A professional came and adjusted the springs.
For several years of operation, they have shifted in mounting.
He adjusted and as you can see until today (five years pass) everything is OK.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around troubleshooting the DROMA THP-40 sectional garage door, which exhibits a jumping issue during operation, specifically with the second segment from the top. Initial suggestions included checking for blockages and lubricating roller shafts. The user confirmed that no blockages were present and that lubrication had been performed. Further advice involved inspecting screws, hinges, and the alignment of the panels. The user noted that manually lifting the gate while pressing on the second panel alleviated the jumping. Ultimately, a professional was called in to adjust the springs, which had shifted over years of use, resolving the issue effectively.
