Hello from the week I have galaxy s8 with android 7.0. I have a problem or just a question. It charges the phone wirelessly. The first three times was oki. Original charger from the brand store. But today it was a different combination of 22 at 38% and at 2 in the morning it was 60% and the charger was light blue and no charging. After re-placing the s8 on the charger, it would normally be 100% green. What could have happened? I will be grateful for advice. Oh, and it is not the fault of the wrong phone because then you do not load the watch. In the beginning, the diode started to glow normally in red.

It could have been a while normally and so it moved slightly and the loading was very poor.
Placing the phone on the charger depending on the model, even a few millimeters makes a huge difference.

And this is not a battery or charger problem? Somewhere in the network about the s6, so it was that the battery lost its memory. But I do not know if it's true. And the charger has this fast induction.

The common name of the error in the software, so wait for the update.

I understand. Thank you for explaining. Will this help after installing the update? Does Samsung know about it? And why is not it happening every time?

If it's really the fault of the software, it will help.

Because we do not know if you were responsible for this situation. A friend has had this model from French Bouygues for several months and he has very good induction charging.

Hello, so the problem is further. Yesterday I put the s8 on the charger and immediately for 10 seconds the diode was flashing and no charging. After re-setting the phone, he sat down to 71% and then the end. It was hot and the charger too. So I see that there is no possibility of wireless charging. It's a shame for such an expensive phone call.

Disable fast charging, maybe the phone stops charging due to temperature.

Welcome back. I think I have bad luck with this s8. I connected the charger to the pg950bbe induction station. It took a few days to get well. The next day, the charger charged zero at the output. I bought a new one. It landed again for days. Now it only charges slowly on the induction and on the cable quickly. What is happening to ... I already have it quite a lot. Is it the fault of an induction station or a telephone?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Galaxy S8 experiencing issues with wireless charging, specifically intermittent charging and diode flashing. Initially, the user reported successful wireless charging, but later faced problems where the charger indicated a light blue color and failed to charge the device. Responses suggest that slight misalignment on the charging pad can affect charging efficiency. There are mentions of a software bug in the S8 related to wireless charging, with users advised to wait for updates. Additional troubleshooting steps include disabling fast charging to prevent overheating. The user later reported persistent issues, including the charger outputting zero power and slow charging on induction. The conversation highlights the potential for either the induction station or the phone itself to be at fault.
