    A cordial request for help,
Recently I have an Internet connection from Multimedia and a router like in the subject.
The quality of the WIFI connection is miserable, I've reached an application that allows me to monitor WIFI and is very crowded.
Will you help with the interpretation of records? Which channel should I choose? I am currently present at 13 (it can be seen).

How to improve the quality of the connection?

    greetings

If you care about speed, turn off WLAN 2.4 GHz and switch to AC technology in the 5 GHz band.
Then in devices, for example in laptops, you need to replace the cards on DualBand (if you do not have one). Telephones if there are newer ones should already have AC support.

Unfortunately, I can not go through 5GHz because the Multimedia configuration allows me to navigate only on 13 channels of the 2.4 GHz band - and to the admin panel of such a typical, unfortunately I can not get in the way.

How can I check if the card on the laptop supports 5GHz?

Download AIDA64 and clean the card model.

    Check phones at gsmarena.com

Unfortunately, there is neither a symbol nor a producer here.

The symbol should be under the tab Network - PCI / PnP network.

A popular chipset. It could be a Dell 1704. The card is weak, because 1x1: 1. With a maximum link rate of 150 Mbps, you can get 60%, or up to 90 Mb / s. Of course in pure ether using the 40 MHz channel.

You have to set the card model, because it does not have to be a MiniPCIe half card.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around improving the WIFI quality of a Technicolor EPC3949 router, particularly in a crowded 2.4 GHz band where the user is currently set to channel 13. Suggestions include disabling the 2.4 GHz band and switching to the 5 GHz band for better performance, although the user is restricted to the 2.4 GHz band due to their ISP's configuration. To check if their laptop supports 5 GHz, users are advised to download AIDA64 to identify the network card model. The user's network card, a Broadcom BCM43142, is noted to be limited in performance, with a maximum link rate of 150 Mbps, which may affect overall connection quality.
