Hello, the description of my case will take a while, but in order.
I have Internet from Vectra, I had a Cisco router so far, he was freaking out (wifi max 25 Mb / s) on the cable reaches 145 (connection 150). I was changed to a white technicolor cga2121 dual-band company and everything is ok, the cable for 150 Wifi comes to 120 - 130 sometimes but.... Ports are blocked. I called Vectra and they can't unlock so I have to hook up my router. I changed the settings from the router to the bridge, I connected my TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND router, I checked the wifi channel and here the problem appears. On the ok wifi cable it happens that it has a 5-10 Mb / s ping 200 ? To make it clear, I did not fumble (the firmware is up to date), I changed the name, set the password protection and changed the channel. What to do?? What else needs to be changed in the router settings ?? And one more question, I can currently see the 2.4 and 5 GHz wifi network when I connect the wifi router, is there one question that works at 5 GHz ??
Thanks in advance for your help.

What type of router did you connect to, what address does it get on the WAN?

Then first make sure that Vectra gives you a public IP - without it, port forwarding won't even work on your router.

This TP Link has wifi only at 2.4 GHz - probably crowded in the area and therefore so poor.
It is worth doing what a colleague asks for @sosarek in his second link and insert a scan of the wifi network here.

I will try to sign off as soon as possible. Currently, I am on the phone with urgent matters at work. I have a public ip after connecting my router the ports are unlocked. Man, I thought that this router supports 5Ghz? I wanted it to work at this frequency because it was crowded at 2.4. What do you recommend ?? Buying another router ?? What?? If possible, inexpensive.

Should be unlocked on the vendor's device if it says it can't, something is wrong.

You have a 150 Mb net - that is, the router must have 1 Gb WAN / LAN, it must have 5 GHz for you - you will hardly find anything below PLN 300 (maybe some TP Link, but I do not recommend it).

You will only see if they are unlocked from the outside or by starting a given service.
Vectra usually has a private IP and all ports are blocked.

Oh it's expensive. I had the same on the black router from Vectra. Now on their router eg Torrents ports blocked on my green light. I called Kolesia from Vectra, he said that when he connects his router, then they will be unlocked, I don't know how it works, but it really is.

It is expensive, it is PLN 500-700 for a router - 3 cents is the minimum for something sensible (and there may be a problem for such money to buy a reasonable router with your needs).

At the moment, no chance to buy such a router, any other proposal? Am I able to approach 100 Mb / s with some low ping on this router on 2.4?

How did you change to "Bridge" in which router menu option can this be changed?
did you do it after logging in to the Vectra client page :?:

On the Vectra page, you set up the bridge.

If I set "bridge" on the Vectra client page, will my previous settings be on the Vectra router?
will they be reset to factory (default) from Vectra?

Then the modemorouter becomes just a modem, i.e. a medium that converts the Internet from coaxial cable to twisted pair.
WiFi will not work, and connection to such a modem will only be possible via wired.

    DNS server provider changed
    and network name, wifi channel

    I have such a message

When I approve the changes and I set the "bridge" on the Vectra client page, this is my previous setting
will be reset to factory (default) from Vectra?

The most important thing for me is to keep the changed DNS servers :!:
The extra router I wanted to connect to is
    TP-LINK TL-WR740N (gargoyle software)

But if you connect your router, what do you need any settings in the Vectra router? He will only be a modem.

I approved the changes and set up the "bridge" on the Vectra client page
now I have to wait until 24 hours. changes?
Should the WiFi in the Vectra router be already blocked?

When it comes to setting your DNS server providers, just change it in TP-Link?

Well, on TP-Link you change DNS because it is the router then. The bridge mode is probably there.

Wifi in the Vectra router should already be blocked?
because I can see that wifi from Vectra is visible

How to check if the Vectra router is already in mode bridge ?

What IP allocates? In bridge mode, there is usually no Wifi.

IP (192.168.1.1) is already after TP-LINK (wifi works)

    - but WiFi is still visible from Vectra?
    IP Vectra (192.168.0.1)

The Vectra router should assign a public address or something from the 100.xxx pool on the WAN

The router from Vectra on the WAN has allocated an address
    TP-Link WAN IP Address: 178.xxx.xx.xx

Have you tried to disconnect the router from the power supply? I have technicolor tc7230 from Vectra and despite the bridge mode and the lack of Wifi service (after logging in to the client area I have written. Please be advised that this Wi-Fi network management panel is not available to you, because you do not have Wi-Fi service from Vectra) after pressing button on technicolor I can run Wifi. I haven't tried to connect and I don't even know the password.

This is probably not strictly wifi, but something like WiFree with UPC - such additional wifi for other Vectra customers.

What router-modem do you recommend from Vectra today?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around troubleshooting poor WiFi performance on a Technicolor CGA2121 modem-router when connected to a TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND router, with Vectra ISP. The user initially experienced slow WiFi speeds with a Cisco router and switched to the Technicolor device, which improved speeds but had blocked ports. After configuring the Technicolor in bridge mode and connecting the TP-LINK router, the user faced high ping and low speeds on the WiFi network. Participants suggested ensuring a public IP from Vectra, checking WiFi channel congestion, and considering the limitations of the TP-LINK router, which only supports 2.4 GHz. The conversation also touched on the need for a better router to achieve optimal performance and the implications of using bridge mode on the Vectra device.
