    Hello

I have a problem, I have poor wifi network coverage. That's why I used to buy the TP-Link TL-WA701ND router to strengthen the WiFi coverage of my main Asus dsl-n12e router. At the beginning they were connected using "Bridge with AP", however, there were two problems: 1. Weak internet speed after connecting to the TP link (because probably the signal from the main router to the tp link is -80dBm but nwm because now after updating tp link converted this data into dashes and now I have 2 by 5 dashes of range with the main router) 2. You have to switch between networks. Later I tried to connect the networks using the "repeater" function (and probably wds) but it also ended in failure because either I did not work or the internet was terribly slow. Now, when I use the Internet at home, I have connected the additional TP Link router to the lan local network and created an acces point with it, so that the internet is ok, but you have to constantly switch and there is a problem when using the Internet on tp link ( and sometimes this problem pops up on asus) you use the internet and there is no internet for about 10-20 seconds and it returns (the problem occurs mainly on mobile devices, rarely on computers).

That's why my questions are like this:
    1. How to fix the problem that sometimes there is no Internet for a short time and it returns (it often happens)
    2. What is the best way to connect and configure these two devices (eg DHCP settings etc.) so that the home would have the same wifi network and internet at good speed everywhere?

Set the same WiFi name ;)

Set the first pool, e.g. 2-100, the second 101-200 etc.

Then you divide the connection speed in half (one radio system has to receive the signal and then send it, it has twice as much work).
It's best to connect both devices with a cable and set both devices as AP.

This will improve the situation as the devices will switch on their own, although there will be a temporary interruption in the connection. Well, unless the devices support the so-called roaming.

I would set the DHCP pool on the first, and set the second only in the same subnet on an address outside the DHCP pool and disable its DHCP server, then you can be sure that you will not conflict with the addressing and that the AP will not assign the wrong gateway, which will cut off your access to the internet.

1.DHCP can only be used on one router.
    2. On the second, you turn off dchp, connect both routers with LAN ports.
3.You set the same ssid, password, encryption type and security type. You set the channels DIFFERENT.

Ready! You enjoy your own wifi roaming
