    Hello,

I have a few hardware in the hut for access to the lte huaweib315 network. on one of the computers the gastro application (connected switch / fiscal and kitchen printer) works each time the power supply fails, the router changes addresses and the program permanently typed in a specific address /. I always have to look for what address I have and enter in the file. do you have any way to change it permanently? I did not find anything in the router's settings.

    greetings Piotr

The router settings should be something like "Static DHCP" / "Static DHCP". What exactly do you have a router?

it turns out that on this router you have to disable the smoke-free host and set a permanent address on every computer. Is this the right course of reasoning ??

You do not need to disable automatic IP assignment via DHCP.
If you give a static IP address to a computer, etc., he will not ask you for an IP.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around configuring a Huawei B315 LTE router to assign a fixed IP address to devices on a home network, specifically to resolve issues with a gastro application that loses its IP address after power outages. Users suggest utilizing "Static DHCP" settings and setting static IP addresses directly on the computers. It is confirmed that disabling dynamic IP assignment is not necessary if static IPs are assigned to the devices. The author successfully implements these changes, ensuring the application retains its IP address after power interruptions.
