Hello, I have a problem with the LG F10B8QDA7 washing machine, namely when the washing machine is switched on, it normally draws water to a certain point (up to 1/4 of the washing machine window) and suddenly an IE error pops up and all the water is drained away. Water supply hose is unobstructed, filters cleaned, there were a few tiny ferns, the water pressure is normal. I called one mechanic who said that the heater probably fell, but I do not know what the heater has for water supply. The washing machine is 3 years old and only 4-5 times a month.

    Have a nice read :)

IE - The tank does not fill with water
To check the water solenoid valve, hydrostat - it's for starters.

As for the heater, the heater may have been subject to corrosion. Perhaps there is a leakage of electricity to the washing machine's casing.

Yesterday I faced such a defect.
I do not have exactly the same washing machine but LG F1289TD but I think the idea is the same.
    Description of the fault:
    Start washing. Brew.
    Picking up water.
The water level in the drum has reached more than half the drum (never the water was washing the water).
    Error (IE).
    Draining (not all) water.
    End.
    Cause:
The water level sensor was not able to measure the water level.
    Fault removal:
Remove the upper cover (2 x Phillips screw on top of the washing machine and slide the cover backwards).
Check the membrane pressure sensor, rubber tube (very important), electrical wires.
In my case, a rubber tube (from drum vibration) has come out of the sensor's connector. I put it back and secured it with the band.
The whole repair lasted 5 minutes.

In my case, the hydrostat was damaged. But the exchange also lasted 5 minutes :)
