Bosch WVG30441 vs LG F4J6TG0W Washer Dryer: Comparing Models, Reliability & 10-year Warranty

Best answers

Which washer-dryer is the better buy for trouble-free use: Bosch WVG30441 or LG F4J6TG0W?

The thread leans toward LG F4J6TG0W rather than Bosch WVG30441 for trouble-free use, mainly because one buyer chose LG after hearing of several years of problem-free use from owners and seeing many complaints about Bosch [#16853454] The LG user reported that it runs quietly, lets you add drying to any program, and that they were generally very satisfied with it [#16853454][#16882601] The F4J6TG0W is connected only to cold water, has a Polish control panel, and is produced in Poland [#16856776][#16882601][#17320969] NFC program support is mentioned in theory, but the app reportedly has poor reviews and could not be made to work, so that feature should not be relied on [#16883003]

Which model of two is better to buy? I want to buy a washer dryer to PLN 2.5k, both have a 10-year warranty on the engine.

I care about trouble-free, like Bosch more recognized company, but from what I read, they also break down. On the other hand, there are not many such threads about LG.

    Hello.
I wear the same intention. And I'm also considering these two types. Unfortunately, nobody speaks.
Dude, have you bought anything yet?

Yes, I bought LG. A bit based on anecdotal evidence - a few people I have for several years and nothing is happening, no one on the forums complained either. And a lot of complaints for Bosch and only 3 drying programs. For now I am very happy it comes quietly drying can be added to any program and not a third to rearrange. We'll see what comes next.

Thanks for such information. I am also increasingly convinced of LG.
I read the instructions for this washer dryer and saw that there are two water connections. For cold and warm. Is this really the case or only optional?

I have normally connected only to cold water. To be honest, I didn't even pay attention to it.

I understand. I have one more question. Is the control panel in Polish or in English?
    Greetings.

Dear friend. Could you show off your washing and drying experience LG F4J6TG0W?
I wonder if the function: "drying in the closet" should be treated literally? Or only approximately?

Thanks for bringing this washer dryer closer. Does this type of LG F4J6TG0W have the function of supporting new programs via NFC? I often meet in the description of this washer / dryer that it has something like that. Does F4J6TG0W also have this function?

Theoretically yes, but I was unable to install and run the application in any way. In the Google Play store she had terribly bad reviews, in the Apple store even worse and I saw comments that others also do not work. So I didn't manage to upload any programs. Nevertheless, I can see now that it is rather a baster, because as a matter of fact you can easily set everything by hand.

    By the way:

    - The manual is for all versions of F4J6 *
There are models with a hot water connection but F4J6TG0W is not there.

    - F4J6TG0W is produced in Poland, this does not have to be the result, but the control panel in Polish has.

    - Polish instructions contain errors, if you have such skills use the English version

The links in the attached picture, because I have too few posts and Forum Regulations do not allow me to include them in the text.

From what I can see initially, there is no such option. Tomorrow I will try to get info on LG. Have you tried turning on the Drying for ironing function on the washing + drying program? Maybe one of the additional options turns off the washing cycle.

I have LG FH4G6TDM2R and after less than a day IE error pops up. Although the valve is clean, the filter is clean. The fast program does not work instead of about 40 minutes of feather work and does not turn off. Only rinsing and spinning works. Equipment submitted to LG. I have 90 percent of LG equipment at home. But I didn't see such a sell.

    Added after 1 [minutes]:

And as it is produced in Poland, it is somehow worse than Chinese.

And how about the water pressure? IE error usually means no water, or poor pressure. If this is a new washing machine, I would look for the cause of the failure on my side, not the equipment.

Strong statement, I do not agree.

The service was damaged the solenoid valve has not been working mechanically. Exchange under warranty. It's not always the user's fault.

FAQ

TL;DR: From this thread, Bosch offers only 3 drying programs, while an LG owner reports “I am very happy.” These first‑hand notes suggest LG F4J6TG0W is quieter and more flexible for adding drying. [Elektroda, yannek86, post #16853454]

Why it matters: If you’re choosing a washer‑dryer for reliability and flexibility, user‑proven details beat brochure specs.

Quick-Facts:

Quick Facts

Which is better to buy: Bosch WVG30441 or LG F4J6TG0W?

One buyer chose LG due to more flexible drying and forum complaints about Bosch’s limited 3 drying programs. They report quiet operation and the ability to add drying to most cycles. This is anecdotal but practical for day‑to‑day use. If you value flexible drying and quieter operation, LG F4J6TG0W fits that profile per user experience. “I am very happy,” the owner adds. [Elektroda, yannek86, post #16853454]

Does LG F4J6TG0W need a hot‑water inlet?

A contributor clarified that the F4J6TG0W variant is not the hot‑water‑inlet model in the F4J6 family. In practice, buyers should plan a cold‑water connection only. This aligns with the owner who used only a cold inlet. If your installation expects hot and cold, cap the hot and use the cold port. [Elektroda, o tempora o mores, post #17320969]

Can I connect LG F4J6TG0W to cold water only?

Yes. An owner connected only to cold water and reported normal operation. No extra setup was required. This reflects typical European washer‑dryer plumbing, where internal heating brings water to temperature. If your valves provide both hot and cold, connect only the cold. [Elektroda, yannek86, post #16856776]

Is the LG F4J6TG0W control panel in Polish?

Yes, the reported unit had a Polish control panel and the owner confirmed local‑language labeling. If buying in another market, panel language may vary by region. Check the sticker on the unit or product card at purchase. [Elektroda, yannek86, post #16882601]

What does “cupboard dry” mean on this LG—and should I trust it?

“Cupboard dry” targets ready‑to‑store dryness. The owner was satisfied using Eco drying, and didn’t test cupboard‑dry specifically. For delicates, test with smaller loads first and monitor shrinkage. If items feel warm‑damp at cycle end, add a short extra dry. [Elektroda, yannek86, post #16882601]

Can I add drying to any wash program on LG F4J6TG0W?

A user reports you can add drying to most programs, rather than being limited to a third of them. This flexibility helps when you want wash‑and‑dry in one go. It reduces re‑handling laundry and saves time. [Elektroda, yannek86, post #16853454]

Does LG F4J6TG0W support NFC to download programs?

Yes in theory, but one user could not get the app to install or work. Reviews cited in the stores were poor at that time. The same user felt manual settings were sufficient. Treat NFC downloads as a non‑essential extra. [Elektroda, yannek86, post #16883003]

How do I run drying only on LG F4J6TG0W?

A forum expert saw no dedicated drying‑only option at first glance. They suggested trying Wash+Dry with the “Drying for ironing” level to minimize wash time. If you need dry‑only often, verify this in‑store or with support. [Elektroda, PanAGD, post #17486976]

What does the IE error mean, and how do I fix it?

An expert notes IE usually indicates no water or weak pressure. Try this: 1) Open the supply valve fully and check pressure. 2) Clean inlet filters and verify hoses aren’t kinked. 3) Restart the machine and test a short cycle. “IE error usually means no water, or poor pressure.” [Elektroda, PanAGD, post #17879682]

Could IE be a hardware fault instead of plumbing?

Yes. One owner’s brand‑new unit had a mechanically failed solenoid valve. Service replaced it under warranty, and the issue cleared. This edge case shows that not all IE faults are on the user’s side. If steps fail, book service promptly. [Elektroda, tagerek, post #17879800]

Where is LG F4J6TG0W made, and does it affect language support?

A contributor reported F4J6TG0W is produced in Poland and has a Polish control panel. They also noted errors in the Polish manual and recommended consulting the English version for clarity. Manufacturing location doesn’t imply poorer quality. [Elektroda, o tempora o mores, post #17320969]

Is the 10‑year warranty on the motor real for these models?

The thread opener compared both models with a stated 10‑year motor warranty. Always confirm current warranty terms on your purchase date, since policies can change by market and time. Keep proof of registration if required. [Elektroda, yannek86, post #16750292]

Is PLN 2.5k a realistic budget for these washer‑dryers?

Yes, the buyer targeted around PLN 2.5k during their decision process. Prices vary by retailer and promotions. Check for bundle deals, warranty extensions, or delivery/installation fees that affect total cost. [Elektroda, yannek86, post #16750292]

Are Bosch WVG30441 drying options limited compared to LG?

In this comparison, Bosch was criticized for offering only 3 drying programs. The LG owner valued adding drying across programs instead. If you need varied dryness levels per fabric, this difference matters in everyday use. [Elektroda, yannek86, post #16853454]
