I am going to buy a projector and a tv box. I wonder how to connect 5.1 speakers to this set.

I will add that TV because it will download multimedia from the NAS server.

The tv box has an spdif output but I don't know how it works.

    Tv box I found H96 PRO + 3 with Android 7.1
I do not have a specific projector model.

I have a budget of PLN 3100 for everything

If the TV BOX has an optical output, what's the problem? Do you connect an optician to an receiver / amplifier, because you don't write anything about it, what do you want to get this sound from, probably not from the speaker from the projector / projector?

Well, I don't have an receiver. The question is whether it can be directly connected to the speakers / soundbar anything.

Because such a set of speakers + receiver is quite a cost. I want to get the 5.1 effect from the tv box at the lowest possible cost. Maybe you can recommend some speakers with spdif input to connect it directly, can't you?

This TV box also has an analog Audio Video (AV) output, so theoretically it can be connected to "everything", the problem may be that when connecting the AV cables, the image will be fed only through this connector ... rather it should not be, but you never know, I have a similar box myself, but I have never tested analog outputs, I didn't even have a cable for it, and I doubt that it is included in the set.

If you want to buy the cheapest 5.1 set with optical input, look for "alledrogo" or anywhere, there is plenty of it, no one will look for you :) Or you can look for a used home theater with an optical input, cost of 100-300 PLN ...

I don't expect anyone to be looking, I just want to know what to look for. So if I find any speakers with spdif input, everything will work for me?

Theoretically, yes, but no one will guarantee you if someone will have functional equipment :)
