    Hi,

    I have this computer:
    https://www.x-kom.pl/p/306024-notebook-laptop...gl72-i7-8gb-1tb120ssd-win10x-gtx950m-fhd.html
    (network cards are attached).

In the apartment we use fairly good internet, it works generally fine, but my computer disconnects from it quite regularly, i.e. I lose connection but in fact I am connected to the wi-fi network all the time

    What could be the reason?

The problem is definitely not on the router / modem / internet side because two buddies using the same wi-fi internet do not have this problem (and they have weaker computers than mine). The problem is not the distance either, I am sitting closest to the router, there is no wall in between, moreover, on the net phone works fine (checked, of course, on off data transfer).

I think the drivers on the computer are OK, because I update everything regularly with Driver Booster.

So what's going on, does anyone have any idea?

If more information is needed, please let me know.
    Edit *
At the suggestion of the modeler:
The router model is: Download TL-WR1043ND V 3.0
Use the router my computer (above) two other computers (older 3 ~~ year old Samsungi) and Telephones, e.g. my Huawei P9 LTE
The provider doesn't matter, I'm the only one who has network problems, the problem is somewhere on my computer, I don't know where? (DIGI supplier).

It still installs a ton of other rubbish.
Windows 10 also mixes its updates here.

If there is an Intel wifi card - these are drivers only from their website and no other software.

And you looked in the network card settings do you have all the options "automatic"? Maybe there is a problem - some address conflicts. Compare the card's settings with another device where this problem is not present.

I have all the options automatic, I have removed Driver Booster so that he doesn't mess with me in the future. I will look for the drivers for the card myself, as I found them, I will reinstall them.

I wonder, however, another thing, why in the photo I attach is written that I do not have access to the business? I have it because it works?

second thing, should both checkboxes in the second picture be marked?

No access for IPv6 - this doesn't apply to you.

Depends on whether you need these features.

In theory, there will be 300 Mb wifi - but on the condition that the computer's network card allows a channel width of 40 MHz and the router itself allows it to be included in it.
The photo shows that the network cable in the computer aggregates 150 Mb.

Problem solved. I uninstalled Driver Booster and updated the drivers myself (through the device manager).

    As I said.
Only in this way, there are no programs and God knows what else (you have no idea what, what and where does the driver download, what installs and why).
    Or exe executive file.

It's true ... it seemed to me that such a program is intelligent etc. and that it will do it better than I do it manually. But only ash drivers :(

    Thanks for the suggestion!

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the frequent Wi-Fi disconnections experienced on an MSI GL72 laptop, despite having a stable internet connection. The user ruled out issues with the router and distance from the access point, suggesting the problem may lie within the laptop's network settings or drivers. Responses highlighted the importance of using official drivers from Intel for the Wi-Fi card and checking network card settings for automatic configurations. The user initially used Driver Booster for driver updates but later uninstalled it due to complications and opted for manual updates through the device manager. Ultimately, the issue was resolved after updating the drivers directly, indicating that third-party software may introduce unnecessary complications.
