    Hello

In my Scenic, both ventilation and heating stopped working. So I decided to dismantle the turbine turbine engine to check it with the service power supply. It turned out that it works the most. Then I removed the blower resistor and noticed that the thermal fuse (216 degrees Celsius) is a break (I checked it with an ohmmeter). I replaced it with an identical fuse, but without soldering, using screw connections from the electric block so as not to damage it. I connected everything to the car again and it turned out that nothing further worked. I checked the fan fuse, which is below the steering wheel and is good. Can anyone help me what can I do?

The fan is generally heard? Does it only blow through cards?

I am not sure if I understand what you mean by a fan, but this turbine engine that distributes the warm air in the mixer is as working as possible, but as I try to turn on the heating and ventilation, unfortunately neither of them works. Just before the deterioration, one could feel the burning of the air outlets into the cabin (grates).

If manual air conditioning. The first three gears of the fan go through the resistor and the fourth through the relay, which is in the bottom of the resistor housing. This gear has a separate power supply. Check if there are pluses in each gear to the resistor.

Generally a cube is connected to the resistor, which contains many pins. Could you please advise me how to check it out? Because by measuring random pins, on some there were about 14 volts.

Schematic search. The controls are brown, cream and pink cables, two thick reds are 4 gears to the relay. Black solid masses.

Sure, if it turns out that the voltage is being given, then the problem is with this green element on the resistor and need to be replaced?

Yes, but in this case it should be the highest speed because it does not go through the resistor only through the relay mentioned earlier.

I checked the voltage and when setting a given level on the blower appears on the individual pin about 14 V, but nothing works even on the 4th level. Any ideas?

Openernica for replacement, damaged ceramic element and relay.

Topic summary

The Renault Scenic I is experiencing issues with both ventilation and heating systems. The user has confirmed that the turbine engine operates when tested outside the vehicle, but the heating and ventilation do not function when reconnected. The blower resistor's thermal fuse was found to be broken and replaced, yet the problem persists. Suggestions from other users include checking the power supply to the resistor and verifying the relay functionality, as the highest fan speed bypasses the resistor. The user measured approximately 14 volts at various pins but still encounters no operation at any speed. A potential solution involves replacing a damaged ceramic element and relay within the system.
