    Hello, forum members,

I would like to kindly ask you for directions on how to search for German TV programs on a new TV bought in Germany (Munich). I changed the flat (in the previous I had a cable and satellite antenna with our nc +), and now I bought a new TV (there is no cable) and I have some questions:
    1. The reception of terrestrial signal is payable in Germany for everyone. Is it true that the reception of this signal, but the satellite is possible on the built-in TV satellite tuner and is it free?
    2. If this is true, what to look for and what parameters should be entered in the TV's menu to watch these programs? I have a new installation like "squint", (probably a little badly set by the installer, because he sees only Astra), Diseq switch. Maybe I'm doing something wrong when searching, because I only catch 9 Bulgarian programs. Only after selecting this transponder, the strength and quality values of the program are close to 100%, for the remaining transponders they are 0% - I am afraid that I am doing something wrong.

Thank you in advance for your help

    No.
Each "farm" pays EUR 17.98 per month, regardless of whether it has any receiver or not.

If the TV is really new, connect any antenna to the aerial socket and receive programs from DVBT2.
Why satellite reception does not work for you, I do not know.

    Hello,

thanks for explanation. I will only ask if the programs on terrestrial TV are also available satellites and is it Astra? It seems to me that while the search for programs called "terrestrial" is simple, you need to set a few things with the satellite signal, are you right?

    @ Mihal2002:

    1. What satellite programs do you receive - give a few, are in HD?
    2. Are they from Astra?
    3. what setting does Diseqc, transponder, LNB have?

I'm "green" in these blocks, :-)
PS The professional from the antenna does not reply to e-mails and does not pick up the phone, and on the sloping roof at the moment there is snow.

Only state (or communal) programs are broadcast in HD.
Private can be viewed in HD after paying the annual HD + fee. Either you buy a HD + receiver or a CI Plus card for the TV. As far as I remember, it is easier with a pay-as-you can sometimes find trouble with these TV cards.

Here is a nice list with German programs, unfortunately it is not marked, which are on HD +: http://www.electronic-solbrig.de/sat-empfang/senderuebersicht-astra-19,2.html

Here, HD programs on Astra, coded are marked with the key: http://www.satindex.de/hdtvs/1/

    Hello,

thanks for the hints, I was able to search the "sky", but the only package of programs that tv found was the English package from Astra 2, 28.2E. At the time of laying the installation, the house was still in the raw state and the installer relied only on the signal meter. Is it possible that he was wrong? Is this a frequent situation, or is the angle of the setting so different that already in the eye of comparison with neighboring antennas should he notice that he has found this satellite? I am asking because maybe I'm making a mistake in searching.

I will also ask for a Diseqdc signal. Is this particular case (zz Astra / Hotbird), this signal we switch between the converters, i.e. for one converter it should be "opposite" than for the other, something like on / off?

    greetings

    Hello,

a professional came along, unfortunately I was at work, my wife let them in and found that the antenna was set correctly, but one of the converters is broken, so I can still only receive English programs from Astra 2 28.2E - something is not here though. They only had a signal meter, and they could not tune the TV, because it was the new oled LG B7. I have such questions:

    1. If the squint is correctly positioned, ie the main direction on the Hotbird, and sideways on the Astra, then there will be a good reception also from the Astra 2 28.2E at the place in Germany - Munich.

    2. Is the TV before tuning with the selected input signal? with ant sat. will show a list of available (seen) satellites?

    3. Will the nc + decoder show a list of available (visible) satellites?

    4. When tuning, I choose Astra 19.2 from the list of satellites, and find programs from Astra 28.2 - is it 100% proof that the antenna is set to Astra 28.2? And by the way, the television should not give a message that the programs found are not part of the chosen satellite?

I ask, because when the professional returns, I want to show him visually that the antenna is being set up for another satellite.

    greetings
