    Hello,
I wanted to ask if anyone uses MDI with tech2win with a saab card and manages to program keys, CIM or other components?
Each time you try to add a CIM, it crashes a loss of communication with the module. CIM is also functional MDI, there are suspicions of a problem in the techa emulator or the wrong card. I would like to know if someone added modules or programmed keys using tech2win and MDI and whether it works or you need to buy Techa2. Maybe someone has a way to do it and will tell you how to bite it.
    best regards

The emulation does not have all the functions, it does, but still not.

This is what I wanted to hear. I have read a bit about it and it turns out that there is no full tech2win coverage for saab and probably not even official version as such. Some people work with NAO cards and say it is doing something to them. Anyway, I ordered the original techa2 with saab cards and we'll see how Opel will do it.

It should go without a problem, I bought a set of ori consumables myself a few years ago and I know that it has amazing possibilities

Yes, out of curiosity, I will ask, did you do this, for example, Chevrolet or Suzuki or Isuzu?

I bought ori techa unlocks the ignition, etc. I come to security, turn it off, go with it to Globaltis, connect the rj45 with the rs232 adapter to the laptop, connect the charger, turn on the tech, run globaltis, access the security functions and here is the problem, it behaves as if globaltis is not communicated with tech. The same with tech2 view no connection to the device. Maybe someone will help?

It turned out that my COM port was damaged. Tech2 managed to program the CIM and the key.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the challenges faced when using Tech2win with MDI for programming keys and CIM (Column Integrated Module) in Saab vehicles. Users report issues with communication loss when attempting to add a CIM, suggesting that the emulation may not fully support Saab functionalities. Some participants have noted that while NAO cards may work for certain tasks, the original Techa2 with Saab cards is recommended for better compatibility. One user successfully programmed the CIM and key after identifying a damaged COM port as the source of their communication issues. Overall, the consensus indicates that while Tech2win has limitations, the original Techa2 is a more reliable option for programming tasks.
